The former WWE champion made a triumphant return from a major surgical procedure and has his eyes set on the goal of pushing his upcoming venture, a wrestling league.

Hulk Hogan's new project is expected to feature wrestling's finest talents and even have President Donald Trump as the perfect opener at the main event.

Hulk Hogan recently had neck surgery, described as a "little fusion procedure," but is already back to work just one day later. At 71 years old, he had minimal recovery time and reportedly felt better after the procedure.

This surgery is just one in a long line for the wrestling legend, who shared in a previous interview that he has undergone at least 25 operations from 2014 to 2024. The athlete's past procedures included multiple back surgeries and replacements for both knees and hips.

Thankfully, Hogan has consistently bounced back from these surgeries, and after this latest one, he is gearing up for a busy summer. Per TMZ, he is particularly excited about the upcoming launch of his new wrestling league, Real American Freestyle.

Earlier in the month, The Blast shared that Hogan was venturing into a new project by launching a wrestling league called Real American Freestyle. The pro wrestler is collaborating with Eric Bischoff and coach Israel Martinez for the highly publicized project.

The league's inaugural event is set for August 30 in Cleveland, and Hogan is eager to have the President of the United States attend, given Hogan's previous support for Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign. The former wrestler plans to invite the President soon, personally.

Hogan is enthusiastic about the league, which aims to offer a fresh experience by featuring unscripted freestyle wrestling in both men's and women's divisions. The master plan of Hogan's upcoming project distinguishes it from traditional wrestling promotions.

Hogan shared his vision in his promotional teaser for the project, emphasizing that it promises athletes the opportunity to earn significant incomes, potentially reaching seven figures through competition.

The league aims to enhance viewer engagement by incorporating elements similar to "The Voice," allowing fans to learn about wrestlers' backgrounds before matches.

Hogan noted that his inspiration for this venture stemmed from his experience launching the Real American Beer company. His vision was further fueled by witnessing President Trump at the Philadelphia NCAA Division I wrestling championships.

With high hopes for its success, Hogan believes that the league could rival the popularity of both the UFC and WWE, and he is genuinely excited about the future of the RAF.

Last year, Hogan leveraged his new business, "Real American Beer," to express his support for Trump. At a recent event in Providence, Rhode Island, he actively campaigned for Trump while showcasing his beer.

When he inquired whether attendees at the event were there to support Vice President Kamala Harris, he was met with loud boos. In contrast, the crowd cheered enthusiastically at the mention of Trump.

This act by Hogan's audience demonstrates the strong alignment between Hogan's fan base and Trump's political agenda. Many attendees were adorned in Trump campaign merchandise, underscoring Hogan's influential position within this enthusiastic audience.

Hogan further stirred controversy during his beer tour stop at the Thirsty Cowboy in Medina, Ohio, last year. There, he made joking comments about wanting to "body-slam Kamala Harris" and "drop the leg on Kamala."

The crowd reacted positively to his remarks, encouraging him to continue. However, his comments took a turn when he made disparaging remarks about Harris's Indian heritage and even made a racist gesture.

Although he later recognized that he had crossed a line, he did not apologize for his comments. The 71-year-old instead attributes his behavior to having consumed too much alcohol while mingling with fans and signing shirts.
