A 'Bizarre' Feeling

During the interview for her SI Swimsuit debut, Hayek revealed that the whole experience felt "bizarre."

"It's so bizarre!" the actress said. "I'm nearly 60! At this stage, it wouldn't have crossed my mind."

Hayek also shared that she had "imposter syndrome" on the day of the shoot in Mexico, which was a feeling she had had during the early days of her career.

"It was impossible for me to meet the standards of beauty of the '90s — skinny and tall," she recalled. "No matter how skinny I was going to get, I was always going to be curvy. I can't stretch my legs! I was never going to be in that club."

How Salma Hayek Maintains Her Figure

Despite the insecurities she felt, Hayek continued her fitness journey to maintain her stellar physique. Although she doesn't go for the physical route.

Hayek admitted that she has "never done weights," but rather relies on meditating.

"I meditate for a long time," she said. "That's my secret. It's the opposite of no pain, no gain."

Hayek is also not into dieting.

"I can only do it for so long," the "Frida" star revealed. "I don't do well with discipline and routine."
