More drama is circling the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill football program, Bill Belichick, and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

On May 9, a popular sportswriter shared the news on his podcast that Bill Belichick's girlfriend had been barred from UNC football facilities.

However, university officials have clapped back at the claim and said the 24-year-old is "welcome" inside their buildings.

Has Bill Belichick's Girlfriend Been Barred From UNC Football Facilities?

On the latest episode of Pablo Torre's podcast, "Pablo Torre Finds Out," the sports journalist opened up about what he'd been told about Belichick's girlfriend being barred from UNC's football facilities.

According to him, "higher-ups" at the university decided last week that the 24-year-old, who is also competing for the title of Miss Maine USA this weekend, wouldn't be allowed inside any of their football buildings or on the football field.

"There is deep worry for how detrimental Jordon can be for not just North Carolina but Bill's legacy, reputation," a source reportedly told Torre. "Don't think you'll be hearing much from [her] moving forward," another source said.

UNC Says Bill Belichick's Partner Is More Than Welcome Inside Their Facilities

Shortly after Torre's claim went viral, university officials told The Athletic's Chris Vannini that Torre's statements were untrue.

"While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities," the statement read.

They went on to say that Hudson would "continue" managing "all activities" related to Belichick's "personal brand."

Torre quickly responded on X, formerly Twitter. He stated that he and his team "stand by the specific reporting in our episode," claiming it came "from the highest levels of the football program."

Hudson Made Headlines For Interrupting Bill Belichick During His CBS Interview

Controversy surrounding Belichick and Hudson is nothing new. Last month, she made headlines for interrupting Belichick during a CBS interview, in which he was promoting his book, "The Art of Winning."

When journalist Tony Dokoupil asked the football coach about his relationship, Hudson interjected and said they were "not talking about this."

Although surprising at the time, when other news about Hudson's role in Belichick's life made headlines, it seemed to put everything into perspective.

Sources revealed that the legendary coach had allowed Hudson to take over his career, saying he "handed off the ball to her."

However, they weren't fond of the former NFL coach's decision. "It's amateur hour and it's showing," an insider said. "They don't know what they are doing and [are] trying to control everything. They don't trust anyone else."

"She thinks she knows everything, like every other 24-year-old," added the insider. "She is CEO of Belichick Inc. and wears every hat in the organization."

Belichick Broke His Silence On The CBS Interview Drama

Following the chaos that ensued after Belichick's CBS interview went live, Hudson posted an email, apparently from Belichick, in which he blasted the media for prying into his personal life.

"All, I don't think this is fantastic, but it will probably hype the book, which is clearly the ongoing theme here," Belichick wrote.

"This is about what I expected from the media," he continued. "[They] will want to focus on whatever negatives they can extract from the book, and all of the current events that don't have anything to do with the book, but are most relevant to their 'ratings' and their agenda [which is not mine]."

Bill Belichick Slammed CBS For Not Honoring Interview Request

Those weren't Belichick's only thoughts, though. In another statement, the 73-year-old called out CBS for asking unrelated questions during their interview — something he believed was off the table.

"Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book," read part of the statement.

"Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book," it continued.

CBS, however, denied the coach's claims and said they had not reached any agreement prior to their "wide-ranging interview."

"There were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation," they added before saying Belichick's publisher "confirmed" there would be no restrictions.
