A$AP Rocky Shares Baby Name Plan Days After Rihanna's Met Gala Pregnancy Reveal

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna intend to keep the family tradition with their third baby's name!

The rapper gave away a major hint about a possible baby name a few days after his beau, Rihanna, unveiled their third pregnancy bump at the prestigious MET Gala.

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna's six-year relationship has seen them become parents to two toddler boys, RZA and Riot, with the third one coming to expand their family of four in a few months.

The rapper dropped the hint while appearing on "Late Night With Seth Meyers," alongside fashion editor and connoisseur Anna Wintour. The 36-year-old artist was asked about the name the rapper and his superstar girlfriend might choose for their new addition.

"Your first two kids have 'R' names, obviously, you and Rihanna have 'R' names. "Is this a lock that the third will have an 'R' name, do you think?Meyers curiously inquired from the rapper, who called his recent MET Gala co-chair gig a "dream come true."

" For sure," Rocky  said in response, confirming that the baby's name will definitely begin with an "R." Meyers then shared a similar story about his own experience, saying:

"All three of our kids are A names, but the difference is only my wife has the A name and nobody cares what my initial was."

Rocky then humorouslyasked if any of Meyers' kids are named A$AP. The host caught the joke and told the rapper he has been looking for a reason to get his wife pregnant a fourth time, and "A$AP Meyers" would be a great fit.

On Tuesday, The Blast shared that Rihanna made a spectacular appearance at the fashion event, showcasing her third pregnancy in an eye-catching outfit, reaffirming her status as a fashion icon. 

She wore a striking ensemble with a black cropped jacket over a bustier bodysuit, paired with a pinstripe skirt featuring a bustle. She added a polka dot satin cravat, ankle chain pumps, and a dramatic oversized hat to accentuate her custom Marc Jacobs look.

Before her grand entrance, Rihanna caught the attention of fans and media alike when news outlets reported her pregnancy news as she headed to the event. 

Her initial outfit for the bump reveal, a light-blue, skin-tight ensemble, featured a long-sleeved top layered over a mini skirt and matching knee-high boots, beautifully framing her baby bump. 

Confident and elegant, she posed effortlessly for the cameras held by photographer Miles Diggs outside New York City's Carlyle Hotel.

Rihanna's third baby bump drop on the floral red carpet continued her trend of memorable announcements. She previously revealed her second pregnancy during her halftime performance at the 2023 Super Bowl, where she proudly displayed her baby bump. 

A few months later, in August 2023, she and A$AP Rocky welcomed their second child, a son named Riot Rose Mayers, inspired by Pharrell Williams, whose song "Riot" was released shortly before the birth. 

Their first child, RZA Athelston Mayers, was born in May 2022. Rihanna and Rocky kept RZA's name a secret for nearly a year before unveiling it, paying homage to the renowned Wu-Tang Clan member.

Rihanna's father apparently found out about Riot with the rest of the world. In February 2023, her father, Ronald, learned about her second pregnancy while watching the news, which caught him by surprise. 

He had reportedly traveled from Barbados to attend the Super Bowl, where Rihanna was performing, after she gifted him tickets. During her halftime show, he was overwhelmed with emotion, realizing that his daughter looked pregnant.

In a previous interview, Ronald expressed his hope that Rihanna's first child would be a girl, as he already had four grandsons from his other children. 

He anticipated the joy of welcoming a granddaughter and even speculated about Rihanna's future family plans. Ronald recalled that she once mentioned wanting to have three kids.

The singer's third baby news comes a few months after Rocky was acquitted in court for reportedly shooting his former best friend in 2021. As shared by The Blast, the rapper was found not guilty of two counts of felony assault by a grand jury.

Since then, the couple has chosen to spend quality time with their babies. According to an insider, Rihanna and Rocky saw the victory as a chance to "decompress and just focus on family time."

"Rihanna's a great mom. She loves playing with kids. Rocky's such a playful dad, too. They were hoping for another baby," the insider added.

Rihanna and Rocky are also very overjoyed to be expecting their third child, as confirmed by a source. The Fenty Beauty CEO has always dreamed of having a large family, and this new addition is reportedly a source of excitement for the couple. 

The source noted that they are especially eager to give their boys another sibling, as they believe that having children close in age will allow them to grow up together and develop a strong bond. 

The couple reportedly feels blessed and grateful for this next chapter in their lives, marking it a very special time for their family.
