The offender appeared in court on Thursday for arraignment on charges of felony stalking and felony vandalism related to the actress. The court has ordered him to stay at least 100 yards away from her and prohibited him from contacting her in any way.

During the proceedings, Carwyle, who appeared disheveled in a blue suicide-prevention blanket, was ordered to be evaluated for mental competency to determine if he is fit to stand trial. His bail was set at $150,000.

The charges stemmed from incidents in 2023, when Carwyle allegedly began bombarding Aniston with unwanted messages through calls, emails, and direct messages.

His behavior escalated, culminating in an incident where he crashed his car through her gate, although she did not directly interact with him. The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office charged him after reviewing his social media posts, which included numerous references to Aniston.

Per TMZ, the judge has now suspended further legal proceedings until Carwyle's mental health is assessed, after which the case will continue if he is deemed competent.

The collision resulted in significant damage to the property of the actress. As The Blast shared, she was at home but fortunately uninjured at the time.

Aniston's private security team detained the individual responsible until law enforcement arrived to make an arrest. Following this event, sources indicated that Aniston was upset with the LAPD for disclosing the precise location of her home, which she felt jeopardized her safety.

An insider shared that she was particularly furious, noting that while her address is publicly available through a simple Google search, it was unnecessary for the police to reveal her specific neighborhood.

Since the incident, Aniston has experienced an influx of people outside her home hoping to catch a glimpse of her. As one of the world's most famous celebrities, she expected a higher level of protection from law enforcement.

The actress believed it would have sufficed if the police had only identified her residence as being in Bel-Air rather than providing exact details.

Aniston's experience during the incident left her shaken. Sources indicate that the situation was serious enough for the Hollywood star to contemplate selling the beloved Bel Air mansion.

Known for its stunning mid-century modern design by architect A. Quincy Jones, the 8,500-square-foot estate sits on 3.4 acres and features breathtaking views of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean.

However, Aniston is now reportedly prioritizing her safety, as concerns grow about the attention her home receives, and the potential risks involved. A source acknowledged that despite the many memories attached to the property, her well-being remains her top priority.

Aniston purchased her stunning property in 2011 for $21 million, enlisting designer Stephen Shadley to create a warm and inviting atmosphere incorporating natural materials such as wood, stone, and bronze.

The home features four bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a wine cellar, a home office, and a private screening room. Outdoors, a serene swimming pool, a teak deck, and a guesthouse are complemented by beautifully landscaped Asian-inspired gardens.

The design includes floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that connect the indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly, enhancing the tranquil ambiance.

Aniston's personal touches, including a Calacatta marble bathtub in the master suite, reflect her passion for interior design and appreciation for timeless, elegant architecture.

As noted by The Blast, Aniston's home invasion has sparked renewed interest in her impressive real estate portfolio, which reflects her love for luxury and comfort.

Over the years, she has accumulated notable properties on both coasts. The actor candidly expressed that if she were not an actress, she would pursue a career in design.

Her latest acquisition, a Mediterranean-style farmhouse in Montecito, purchased from Oprah Winfrey for $14.8 million in 2022, showcases exquisite features such as hand-painted wallpaper, silk rugs, and breathtaking views through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Aniston continues to own her Bel Air property, which she transformed into a cozy sanctuary. The home served as the venue for her wedding to Justin Theroux in 2015.

In New York City's West Village, Aniston briefly owned two condos that she planned to merge into a larger space, but the relentless paparazzi led her to sell them the following year at a loss.

During her time with Theroux, they rented a charming Beverly Hills home for $20,000 a month, complete with vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, and a marble kitchen.

Aniston's passion for real estate has been evident for years, as demonstrated by her impressive portfolio of stylish homes that serve as personal havens and vibrant social spaces.

One of her notable acquisitions was a sprawling 12,000-square-foot French Normandy-style estate in Beverly Hills, which she and then-husband Brad Pitt purchased in 2001 for $13.1 million.

This property, originally built in 1934, underwent a complete renovation, featuring a screening room, heated marble kitchen floors.

The home came with a custom pub room with flooring sourced from a 200-year-old French château, along with a formal dining room and a multimillion-dollar tennis court.

After her divorce, Aniston sought a change of pace by renting a coastal retreat in Malibu that belonged to Larry Ellison. The 1,500-square-foot beach house offered her a tranquil escape with stunning ocean views, far from the hustle of Beverly Hills.

In 2006, she took another significant step by purchasing a midcentury home designed by Harold W. Levitt in Beverly Hills for $13.5 million. With the help of designer Stephen Shadley, she transformed this residence into a serene, Balinese-inspired oasis.

It came with koi ponds, Brazilian wood eaves, and heated stone floors, naming it "Ohana," which means extended family in Hawaiian.

So glad to see Jennifer Aniston safe and sound!
