Bill Belichick has credited his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, as a major influence on his latest book, "The Art of Winning: Lessons From My Life in Football."
The legendary coach called the former cheerleader his "creative muse" as he gushed about her in the acknowledgement of the tome.
The revelation comes amid previous reports that Bill Belichick had "handed off the ball" to his girlfriend, a phrase used to explain her increasingly active role in his professional life.
The Veteran Coach Expressed His Gratitude To His Girlfriend In The New Book

Just before readers crack open the main content of Bill Belichick's new book, The Art of Winning: Lessons From My Life in Football, they will come across the veteran coach's heartfelt praise for his controversial girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
In the third acknowledgment of the book, Belichick thanked the former cheerleader for being a major influence in helping generate ideas for the project.
"Thank you to my idea mill and creative muse, Jordon Hudson," he wrote about the 24-year-old, per Page Six.
Prior to gushing about Hudson, Belichick expressed his gratitude to his business partner and longtime friend, Berj Najarian, and his team at InkWell Management and Simon & Schuster, who published the book.
"Any individuals I list in appreciation for making this book possible — which really means making my career possible — warrant more than a two-word entry," Belichick also penned. "Collectively, they made me, as did countless others who deserve mention."
Jordon Hudson's Influence Over Bill Belichick Has Grown Since Their Romance Began

According to the Simon & Schuster homepage for the book, Bill Belichick wrote The Art of Winning in 2024 after stepping down from his role as head coach of the New England Patriots.
At the time, he was already in a relationship with Jordon Hudson, whom he met on a flight in 2021.
While it makes sense that he would mention her in the book, the couple has still raised eyebrows over the level of influence Hudson now appears to have over the veteran coach.
It was previously reported that the former cheerleader "demanded" to be named an executive producer on a now-scrapped docuseries, which was set to chronicle Belichick's first season coaching at the University of North Carolina.
Hudson also allegedly warned showrunners to treat her with respect or risk losing the rights to use Belichick's intellectual property.
Additionally, the 24-year-old has reportedly built an $8 million real estate portfolio since meeting Belichick, and it remains unclear how she was able to acquire these properties.
The Former Cheerleader Hijacked Bill Belichick's Interview On CBS

The most telling and public sign of how much influence Hudson seems to be wielding over Belichick appeared during the coach's interview with CBS's Tony Dokoupil to promote his new book.
Midway through the conversation, Hudson interrupted Dokoupil as he began asking Belichick a personal question about how they met.
When Dokoupil attempted to probe further, Hudson stood her ground, forcing the host to abandon that line of questioning.
Later reports claimed that Hudson hijacked other parts of the interview and even stormed off the set at one point, expecting Belichick to follow her.
Her outburst reportedly caused a half-hour delay in the interview, and showrunners eventually had to step in to salvage what they could for the final version aired on television.
The Coach Defended His 24-Year-Old Girlfriend From The Backlash

Belichick defended his girlfriend's actions and accused the media outlet of steering the conversation away from the book.
"Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book," read the first half of the statement, per CBS News.
"Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book," he added.
He went on to say that Dokoupil's decision to repeatedly bring up relationship questions prompted his girlfriend to step in. He further defended Hudson's actions by noting that their relationship went beyond just being personal.
"After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion," Belichick explained.
Bill Belichick Has Reportedly 'Handed' His Brand To His '24-Year-Old' Girlfriend

Recently, sources have even claimed that Belichick has essentially "handed off the ball" to Hudson and that the duo is not applying any real strategy to running his brand.
"It's amateur hour and it's showing," an insider told Page Six. "They don't know what they are doing and trying to control everything. They don't trust anyone else."
Despite the enormity of managing Belichick's portfolio and professional brand, Hudson has reportedly refused to seek guidance from more experienced professionals and acts like a "know-it-all."
"She thinks she knows everything, like every other 24-year-old," added the insider. "She is CEO of Belichick Inc. and wears every hat in the organization."
