Don't expect to see Justin Tucker wearing purple and gold during the upcoming NFL season.
On May 5, 2025, the Ravens' general manager, Eric DeCosta, made a lengthy statement and announced his team was releasing their standout kicker, Justin Tucker.
Although DeCosta didn't detail the reason for the split, the decision comes months after the 35-year-old was accused of misconduct by 16 different women, all of whom worked as massage therapists.

"Sometimes football decisions are incredibly difficult, and this is one of those instances. Considering our current roster, we have made the tough decision to release Justin Tucker," DeCosta's statement read.
"Justin created many significant and unforgettable moments in Ravens history," the statement continued. "His reliability, focus, drive, resilience, and extraordinary talent made him one of the league's best kickers for over a decade. We are grateful for Justin's many contributions while playing for the Ravens. We sincerely wish him and his family the very best in this next chapter of their lives."
The teams' announcement arrived just over a month after the organization's president revealed they were letting the NFL's internal investigation into the allegations surrounding Tucker play out.
"From our standpoint, I think we want to make sure that we have a great understanding of the facts, an actual understanding of the facts, hear both sides of the situation, and that we allow the investigation to properly be conducted and concluded, and make decisions based on the full information," Sashi Brown said in March 2025.
What Is Justin Tucker Being Accused Of?

In January 2025, as reported by The Blast, six massage therapists, all women, spoke with a Maryland publication and accused Tucker of displaying unacceptable and inappropriate behavior during his body work sessions at high-end spas.
Initially, six women, who all requested anonymity, shared similar stories, and some said Tucker's alleged actions, such as brushing them with his exposed p-nis and leaving ejaculate on the massage table, were so appalling they had to end their sessions with him early.
Two spas also claimed to have banned Tucker from using their facilities in the future.
“I’ve told people about this over the years, and they either act like it’s hot gossip or a joke,” one therapist who said they treated Tucker in 2016 revealed. “But it was really degrading.”
But the trauma didn't end there for them.
Other therapists claimed Tucker would often attempt to expose his genitals or touch their thighs with his hand.
“We can tell if it’s intentional or just an accident, and this was intentional,” one of them said.
To combat his alleged actions, several of the therapists claimed they took extra precautions to keep him covered, including placing a heavy heating pad over his pelvic area.
Additional Therapists Come Forward

Following the initial report, additional therapists came forward to The Baltimore Banner and shared similar stories about their alleged experiences with the NFL player.
One woman made an additional claim that hadn't been shared yet, saying the Super Bowl Champion made "intense eye contact throughout the massage while exposed."
Justin Tucker's Attorneys Denied The Claims

Tucker's attorneys, Thomas A. Clare and Steven J. Harrison of Clare Locke, dismissed the allegations against their client and called them "impossible to prove."
In a statement, his lawyers said, “Mr. Tucker has never behaved inappropriately during any massage therapy session, and certainly never in the manner described. Any suggestion to the contrary is a fictitious and utterly baseless claim.”
They also denied the claims that Tucker ejaculated during any of his sessions.

Tucker also opened up about the allegations in an X post and slammed The Baltimore Banner for publishing "unequivocally false" statements about him.
"I have never received any complaints from a massage therapist, have never been dismissed from a massage therapy or bodywork session, and have never been told that I was not welcome at any spa or other place of business," he said.
"I maintain I did not act inappropriately at any point before, during, or after a professional bodywork treatment session," Tucker continued.
His wife, Amanda Bass, also discussed the claims, saying they've "caused so much hurt to our family."
“I believe my husband, and I love and support him fully," she finished.
