It wouldn’t be Met Gala Monday without a little drama, and Hailey Bieber brought the heat early.

The 27-year-old model and wife of pop superstar Justin Bieber was spotted racing through Manhattan on Monday afternoon, reportedly en route to an emergency stylist meeting ahead of fashion’s biggest night.

But it wasn’t just her hurried pace that caught attention because Hailey gave fans a double-take when she appeared to suffer a wardrobe malfunction, flashing her bra beneath a barely-zipped dress.

The daring ensemble, which was captured in photos obtained by Daily Mail, seemed to be intentionally unzipped halfway down her chest, adding fuel to speculation that her last-minute fitting might’ve hit a snag. Ushered along by security, the Rhode Beauty founder looked cool under pressure as she made her way to the final prep stages before stepping onto the Met steps.

Also making moves in the city was her longtime bestie, Kendall Jenner, who kept things low-key but ultra-chic in a blue trench coat and black pants, clutching a large black leather tote.

The runway regular, known for slaying the Met red carpet year after year, was clearly saving the big reveal for the evening.

Meanwhile, Colman Domingo, who’s not only a guest but also hosting this year’s Met Gala, was already dressed to impress. The 55-year-old actor rocked a striking magenta plaid suit, paired with a white shirt, purple tie, black beret, and a gold statement pin. In a sea of fashionistas, Domingo has no problem standing out.

Priyanka Chopra arrived at The Carlyle looking effortlessly elegant in a black belted coat, stirrup leggings, and classic kitten heel slingbacks. Always polished and poised, the Citadel star took a moment to wave at fans gathered outside the hotel.

Cynthia Erivo kept it casual but cool with a quick pit stop at Dunkin’ before glam time. The "Wicked" star was snapped sipping on a drink while sporting an oversized black-and-white pinstriped shirt over shorts, topped off with a black Chanel handbag. Even during a coffee run, Cynthia serves fashion.

This year’s Met Gala co-chairs include the always-iconic Anna Wintour, alongside Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, and A$AP Rocky, who showed up with his longtime boo, Rihanna. The superstar was spotted cradling what appeared to be a baby bump ahead of the 2025 Met Gala, sparking rumors she's expecting again with her longtime partner.

And while the red carpet will be filled with glam, gowns, and viral fashion moments, don’t expect everyone to be invited.

According to biographer Amy Odell, "militant" host Anna Wintour maintains strict control over the guest list, making the final call on who’s “in” and who’s very much “out.”

Among those permanently iced out is Kanye West, who hasn’t scored an invite since 2022 after Wintour allegedly vowed never to work with him again following his string of anti-Semitic comments.

Even before that, Ye was known to skip the gala with his last appearance was back in 2019, when he attended alongside then-wife Kim Kardashian.

And then there’sDonald Trump, who’s been persona non grata for years.

In fact, Wintour herself confirmed his ban back in 2017 during a cheeky appearance on "The Late Late Show with James Corden," where she admitted Trump was the one person she’d never allow back.

His final walk up the Met steps came in 2012 with wife Melania Trump.

But beyond the celebrity politics, this year’s event is already making waves for its deeper meaning.

Cultural commentator and FIT professor Emil Wilbekin weighed in on the significance of the "Superfine" exhibition, calling it a bold statement in today’s political climate.

“With the 'Superfine' exhibition happening in this era of [Donald] Trump and anti-DEI, the rolling back of civil rights bills, laws and policies, here comes this exhibition that's celebrating the very thing being rolled back,” Wilbekin said. “It’s a very high and very intellectual form of resistance.”
