Legendary coach Bill Belichick may be used to calling the shots on the field, but reports say he is no longer in control of his own brand.
He has seemingly "handed off the ball" to his "amateur" girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, whom he began dating three years ago.
The duo previously made headlines for their controversial CBS interview, where Hudson was seen interrupting Bill Belichick's conversation with the host to stop him from answering a personal question.
Bill Belichick Has 'Handed' His Brand To '24-Year-Old' Girlfriend, Says Sources

Following Belichick and his girlfriend's disastrous CBS outing, sources are now shedding more light on the couple's behind-the-scenes professional dynamic.
Already from the outing, it was clear that Hudson had a significant influence on his professional life, especially given how she interjected during his conversation with host Tony Dokoupil.
Sources now say the situation is even worse, claiming the legendary coach has essentially "handed off the ball to her." What's more, the duo is said to have no real strategy and is simply winging it.
"It's amateur hour and it's showing," an insider told Page Six. "They don't know what they are doing and [are] trying to control everything. They don't trust anyone else."
Despite the enormity of managing Belichick's portfolio and professional brand, Hudson has reportedly refused to seek guidance from more experienced professionals.
"She thinks she knows everything, like every other 24-year-old," added the insider. "She is CEO of Belichick Inc. and wears every hat in the organization."
Jordon Hudson Demanded To Be Made An Exec Producer On The Coach's Scrapped Docuseries

Aside from the shocking interruption during the CBS interview, there have been other moments where Hudson appeared to confirm what sources have claimed about her involvement in Belichick's brand.
It was previously reported that the former cheerleader had "demanded" to be made an executive producer on the now-scrapped docuseries, which was intended to follow the legendary coach's first season at the helm of the University of North Carolina football team.
Hudson also reportedly warned the showrunners to treat her with respect or she would block them from using Belichick's "IP."
Additionally, other insiders claimed the real estate mogul "forced her way" into the Dunkin' Donuts Super Bowl ad. The ad in question featured her, Belichick, actor Ben Affleck, and his brother Casey Affleck.
"She forced her way in…. but Bill saw it as a way for her to get paid. People said they've never seen anything like it," said a source.
The Ex-Cheerleader Broke Her Silence On The Disastrous Interview Ahead Of Bill Belichick's Statement

Interestingly, Hudson was also the first person to speak out after the controversial CBS interview before Belichick subsequently released an official statement addressing the issue.
She took to Instagram to share an email seemingly written by Belichick. In the email, the new UNC football coach could be seen expressing frustration that the media has chosen to focus on the negative narratives surrounding his upcoming book, The Art of Winning, rather than its central message.
"All, I don't think this is fantastic, but it will probably hype the book, which is clearly the ongoing theme here," Belichick wrote.
"This is about what I expected from the media," he continued. "[They] will want to focus on whatever negatives they can extract from the book, and all of the current events that don't have anything to do with the book, but are most relevant to their 'ratings' and their agenda [which is not mine]."
Bill Belichick Claimed CBS Didn't 'Keep The Conversation Centered On His Book'

Eventually, Belichick shared his thoughts about the CBS interview in a scathing statement, calling out the media outlet on how they handled the conversation.
"Prior to this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interviews I participated in would agree to focus solely on the contents of the book," read the first half of the statement, per CBS News.
"Unfortunately, that expectation was not honored during the interview. I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep the conversation centered on the book," he added.
He then claimed that the media outlet's actions prompted Hudson to interrupt the way she did.
"After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion," the veteran coach concluded
CBS Called Out The Coach For His Statement On The Interview

In response to Belichick's claims, a CBS spokesperson shared that there was never such an agreement with the legendary coach ahead of the interview.
"When we agreed to speak with Mr. Belichick, it was for a wide-ranging interview," said the rep, per the New York Post. "There were no preconditions or limitations to this conversation.
They also claimed to have had a conversation with Belichick's publisher prior to the interview and said that no such restrictions were communicated.
"This was confirmed repeatedly with his publisher before the interview took place and after it was completed," the spokesperson added.
