Val Chmerkovskiy Passes Kidney Stone Mid-Flight, Shares The Photo To Prove It

Val Chmerkovskiy just had a travel nightmare he won't soon forget, but leave it to the "Dancing With the Stars" pro to turn it into a hilarious, TMI moment for fans!

The 39-year-old dancer revealed via Instagram Stories over the weekend that he "passed a kidney stone on my flight home."

Val Chmerkovskiy even shared a photo of the tiny culprit.

"Passing a kidney stone on my flight home wasn't part of my plans, but here we are," Val quipped on Sunday, adding, "Baby boy was a cute little b-stard, about the size of a pea, and has his papa's eyes."

In true Val fashion, he gave followers a full play-by-play of the "brutal" experience, starting with some "little side/back pain" he noticed after landing in Spain.

Things quickly escalated from there.

He said he felt "pain throughout the night," describing it as "throbbing and poking" by morning. Still, he wasn't sure if he just needed to use the bathroom, until the pain became "KILLING ME" level serious.

"I can't decide if I gotta [go to the bathroom] or it's something else, but my side and back are now KILLING ME," he wrote.

Realizing this was beyond the usual aches and pains, Chmerkovskiy "uncharacteristically" made the call to visit a hospital, where doctors found blood in his urine and diagnosed him with a urinary infection, most likely caused by a kidney stone.

"Took some tests. Found blood in my pee. Told me I have a urinary infection, most likely caused by a kidney stone. Antibiotics, some painkiller," Chmerkovskiy explained.

Feeling better after some meds and even managing to "kill it" at an "amazing event" the next day, Val thought the drama was over... until mid-flight home when "boom, felt a little something somewhere sacred."

After a quick trip to the airplane bathroom, he discovered the stone and, of course, documented the moment for the' gram.

"I'm never eating sweets or ultra-fried/greasy foods again," he promised, in full caps for dramatic effect.

Despite the harrowing ordeal, Chmerkovskiy was back to looking like a million bucks the very next day, stepping out with wife Jenna Johnson for the "Thunderbolts" movie premiere.

The duo, who tied the knot in April 2019 and share a 2-year-old son, Rome, were all smiles on the red carpet. Val suited up in a sharp tuxedo while Jenna stunned in a plunging white gown.

When Jenna walked down the aisle to a live string quartet, she looked like a true princess in a classic Vera Wang gown with sheer long sleeves and a slight mermaid silhouette.

After saying "I do" to her new husband, the bride switched things up. She slipped into a timeless white cap-sleeve dress by Tony Ward for Kleinfeld Bridal, featuring an intricately embellished bodice and a flowing tulle skirt.

Val, never one to be outdone, rocked a full velvet custom Brooks Brothers tuxedo for the ceremony before changing into a jacquard black-on-black tuxedo with satin lapels for the reception, a total fashion flex, courtesy of Brooks Brothers.

The couple kept the ceremony deeply personal, reading their own vows and "incorporating a few meaningful traditions" that celebrated both of their family cultures. They exchanged matching rose gold wedding bands designed by Jacob & Co., a sweet nod to their commitment.

Family and famous friends turned out in full force to celebrate. Val's brother, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, served as best man, posing for heartwarming photos alongside the newlyweds, his wife, Peta Murgatroyd, and their then-2-year-old son, Shai.

The wedding guest list was a who's who of "DWTS" royalty as Hayley Erbert, Witney Carson, Emma Slater, Sasha Farber, Mark Ballas, Cheryl Burke, Alan Bersten, Artem Chigvintsev, Lindsay Arnold (who also served as a bridesmaid!), and Brandon Armstrong were all there to cheer the couple on.

Also spotted were Nikki Bella, Candace Cameron Bure, Adam Rippon (rocking his role as a "bridesman"), and Alfonso Ribeiro, along with Val and Jenna's former dance partners Joe Amabile, Normani Kordei, Laurie Hernandez, and Ginger Zee.
