Virginia's family has not shared specific details regarding her death as they are still coming to terms with the tragedy. In an exclusive interview, Amanda Roberts, her sister-in-law, stated that the family is currently processing everything.

Virginia was reportedly facing several personal challenges when she was found dead on her farm near Perth, Australia, on April 24.

A significant burden for her was a restraining order obtained by her husband, Robert Giuffre, in February, which barred her from seeing their three children—ages 19, 16, and 15—until June.

Robert reportedly accused her of violating the order, a claim she denied. Virginia's brother, Sky Roberts, emphasized the profound anguish of being separated from her children.

In February, Robert filed a family restraining order against his estranged wife, which granted him primary custody of their children and prohibited her from any contact with them.

This development came after an alleged incident during a trip in January, where he reportedly assaulted Virginia. The violent exchange resulted in severe injuries, including a cracked sternum and a perforated eye, and Virginia was taken to the hospital for her injuries.

Despite reporting the alleged assault to the police on January 9, 2025, in Dunsborough, Western Australia, no charges were filed against Robert. In a surprising twist, he quickly countered by filing a restraining order against Virginia, claiming that she had become violent towards him.

The 41-Year-Old Experienced A Traumatic Past Filled With Sexual Assault

Before her untimely death, Virginia reportedly suffered physical abuse at the hands of her estranged husband, with whom she had three children and separated in 2023. Additionally, she alleged that she had endured years of sexual abuse by convicted sex offenders Epstein and Maxwell.

Virginia claimed that Epstein trafficked her to wealthy and influential men, including Prince Andrew, beginning when she was only 16 years old. While Andrew has denied the allegations against him, Epstein had also denied any wrongdoing before his death by suicide in 2019.

In an exclusive statement to PEOPLE this month, she discussed the abuse she suffered at the hands of Maxwell and Epstein, asserting that while she managed to fight back against them, she struggled to escape the domestic violence in her marriage until recently.

Following a recent physical assault from her husband, Virginia felt compelled to break her silence. She expressed gratitude for the support she has received and expressed her belief that justice will ultimately prevail.

The Mother-Of-Three Reportedly Faced Mockery From Supporters Of Her Alleged Abusers

The Blast noted that Annie Farmer, another victim of Epstein, shared her thoughts on the tragic death of Virginia. Farmer suggested that the immense pressure stemming from Giuffre's sexual abuse case against Prince Andrew contributed to her struggles.

Giuffre had accused the Duke of York of abusing her when she was a minor after being trafficked by Epstein. Farmer noted that the weight of these legal battles and the public scrutiny surrounding them took a toll on Giuffre's mental health.

She remarked that Giuffre faced particularly harsh treatment from the public since speaking out about her experiences, which compounded her difficulties. Despite receiving support, Farmer felt it was not enough to alleviate Giuffre's challenges.

She emphasized the unique burden Giuffre carried, especially due to the involvement of a royal figure, stating that the continuous nature of such battles felt relentless.

Following her passing, a tweet she made regarding her mental health has drawn attention. In the tweet, she asserted, "I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape or form am I suicidal."

She emphasized this message to her therapist and GP, urging that if anything were to happen to her, it should not be overlooked, as she believed some individuals wished to silence her.

Despite the concerns raised by her statements, authorities have indicated that there is likely no foul play involved in her death. A report was made to emergency services late on the night of April 25, stating that a woman was found unresponsive at a residence in Neergabby.

Emergency responders, including St John WA, provided first aid, but sadly, the 41-year-old was declared deceased at the scene. Major Crime detectives are also investigating the circumstances, but initial findings suggest that her death is not suspicious.

May Virginia Giuffre's soul rest in peace!
