When two dramatic reality shows collide, fans know there's some serious excitement ahead. Get your popcorn and dirty soda ready for a reality show crossover that will certainly keep you wondering and intrigued.
The stars of the hit Hulu reality series, "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" are known for their never-ending drama, so it should be no surprise that drama followed them to "Vanderpump Villa" during their appearance on the show.
Season 2 of "Vanderpump Villa" premiered on Thursday, and now fans of "Mormon Wives" are getting a taste of the crossover drama that ensued when Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Layla Taylor, Mikayla Matthews, and Jessi Ngatikaura popped up at the Villa. The trailer for the new season hinted at a possible connection between Demi and Villa staff member, Marciano Brunette.
And in typical "Mormon Wives" and "Vanderpump Villa" fashion, the tea is hot.
'Mormon Wives' Stars Cross Over To 'Vanderpump Villa'

After meeting Demi when she arrived at the Villa, Marciano admitted he felt drawn to her. On multiple occasions, Demi reminded the "Vanderpump Villa" star that she's happily married to Bret Engemann.
She admitted to Marciano that she nearly divorced Bret "27 times" because of their 16-year age difference.
While their encounter so far sounds innocent and friendly, it doesn't appear the two are on good terms any longer. Marciano shared on Instagram before the premiere of the show, "Uninvited to the function cus a 30yo Mormon wife's scared I will tell her husband the truth."
According to Us Weekly, Bret seemingly clapped back in his Instagram Story with a photo of him and Demi captioned, "I'm so proud of this beautiful human. She's the most incredible woman I will ever know. The amount of nonsense she's had to endure at the hands of disingenuous and deceitful fools is astounding. She's conducted herself like a graceful lioness amongst a bunch of yipping hyenas."

In a post shared on Instagram by Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, "Demi speaks out against everything that has been going on."
"It seems pretty clear but I guess some people are still confused - unwanted physical touch = assault. PERIOD the end," she wrote. "To the people that were made aware of these events and watched me cry and attempt to navigate the best way to move forward due to this individuals actions, and then proceeded to use their platforms to victim shame, publicly call me a liar, and judge the way I handled it, from the bottom of my heart, shame on every last one of you! You are perpetuating the very problem as to why victims don't feel comfortable coming forward about these things!"
She added, "They either feel they won't be believed, or will be judged and even shamed for how they've handled it. How shocking and ironic that it's almost EXCLUSIVELY women participating in this destructive behavior. I've never been more disappointed."
She also thanked the people who "believed me and supported me both privately and publicly."
More 'Mormon Wives' Tea Is Spilled In Comment Sections Online
Stephanie Tleiji, who goes by stephwithdadeets on TikTok, broke down all the MomTok and "Vanderpump Villa" drama.
She shared that it all started with the video that Marciano posted on his IG page. She also connected the dots to share that his video is pointing right at Demi.
"Before we get to what Demi had to say, let's get to what everyone else had to say," Tleiji said before reading some of the comments. "But the tea is actually under 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' IG post. And not only does Demi comment on this post, but so did Marciano's brother and Jessi."
Demi wrote, "Grown men acting like a child cause they couldn't beg a woman that was beyond out of their league and MARRIED. The clout chasing is on another level." Later in the thread, Demi added, "Also, he got uninvited by Hulu because he's a s3xual pr3dator that can't keep his hands to himself, not because I'm hiding anything from my husband. He's a lying clout chaser. Marciano, hope your 15 min of fame is worth it, you're pathetic."
Then Marciano's brother entered the chat and brought the drama to yet another level of insanity.
'Plot Twist'
In an update video, Tleiji shares a "plot twist" to the whole Demi and Marciano drama.
"Plot twist. Now the streets are saying Marciano and Demi actually did not have anything going on, and it was actually Marciano and Jessi," she shared. "Not gonna lie guys, this is not the first I've heard of this."
She then explained some of the drama going on in comment sections and a blind item that's circulating about Jessi's possibly failing marriage.
Fans shared their thoughts in the comment section of Tleiji's video.
"But wasn’t Jessi pointing fingers at Demi in the comments….? I’m starting to think this is a publicity stunt bc what is even going on?!" one person wrote. Another added, "This drama is getting wild! I need those receipts too, can't wait to see how it all unfolds."
Sharing The 'Mormon Wives' Crossover On 'Vanderpump Villa'
After the new season of "Vanderpump Villa" premiered on Hulu, Tleiji shared a video that shows Demi and Marciano's scenes to further breakdown the drama.
While showing some clips of their scenes together, Tleiji shared some commentary that's likely on everyone's minds. The bottom line is it appears the trailer may have been edited in a way that makes people think one way, but in reality, it's not the case.
"This is giving a situation where a girl says hi to a guy, just being a kind human being, and that guy will be like, oh, she likes me," Tleiji pointed out. "But I'm interested to know if there is more to this because Jennifer Affleck had said that Demi had invited him to dinner."
"She loves her man. I don’t believe for a second that she was interested in that creep," one viewer wrote in the comments. Another said, "She did absolutely nothingggg wrong here. She was being friendly and trying to relate and make him feel better by explaining that everyone has relationship issues."
You can now stream season 2 of "Vanderpump Villa" on Hulu. The second season of "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" is set to be released on May 15, 2025, so get your popcorn and dirty soda ready for a drama filled season!
