Roselyn Sánchez On Why Partnering With Lysol Was A Natural Fit

"When I was approached, it's funny because I'm sure the perception of people is that they think, oh, 'She doesn't clean her house,' but I actually clean my house a lot," Sánchez confessed. "I grew up with a mom that cleaning was super, super important. And I am like a neat freak to the point that a lot of people that come to my house, they’ll say it doesn't look like kids live here, because everything is put together. Because I like things clean and smelling great. And it was a very organic campaign for me to do."

The Latina powerhouse said joining forces with Lysol was a natural fit, especially since she's obsessed with keeping things tidy and smelling fresh.

Sánchez added, "When you can clean with something that you know that is going to kill 99. 9% of germs and it actually smells good, and it's the type of smell that makes you smile, and in my case, makes me dance, then I was like, you know what? Yeah, I can do this. I can do it well."

"I'm either listening to ballads, slow music, romantic music, or I go full on salsa, reggaeton. Because I'm very, very Puerto Rican," she laughed.

When asked for her ultimate cleaning hack, Sánchez didn’t hesitate: Lysol Disinfecting Wipes are her ride-or-die.

"You can use [the wipes] for everything," she said. "I like keeping wipes inside my car. I think it's so convenient and practical just to have wipes inside your car, because if anybody makes a mess, boom, you clean. And they smell so good, even better."

Even though the brand offers a wide range of products, including the Multi-Surface Cleaner, the Toilet Bowl Cleaner, and the All-Purpose Cleaner, the wipes are Sánchez's go-to. "I think is the most practical thing to have at all times," she said.

Beyond cleaning (and dancing!), Sánchez has been busy making big moves behind the scenes, literally.

She recently made her directorial debut with "Diario Mujer Café" and said the experience was life changing.

"I loved it. And I wish I would have done it sooner," she admitted. "I was very intimidated... until I understood my responsibility as a director is just to tell my story."

Sánchez revealed she wrote the script during COVID and returned to her beloved Puerto Rico to film.

"We have incredible tax incentives for the film industry, incredible talent. The crew is fantastic," she shared. "I directed something that I believe is really special. I'm very happy."
