Flavor Flav was revealed as the Space Ranger on "The Masked Singer" during "Ghostbusters Night" on March 12, after delivering a high-energy performance of The Busboys' classic "Cleanin' Up the Town" from the "Ghostbusters" soundtrack.

Flavor Flav's Out-Of-This-World Reveal Stuns Masked Singer Judges

Before belting it out, the hip-hop icon dropped some not-so-subtle clues about his identity, including tales of schlepping furniture in New York summers and a mysterious "cowboy" who helped launch his career.

"Then, one day, me and my boy came up with a crazy idea in the back of a moving van," he teased in the clue package. "A beastly band of boys… helped our group start a worldwide movement."

After the show-stopping performance, Space Ranger landed at the bottom and was sent packing, but not before the judges took their best (and worst) shots at guessing who was behind the mask.

Robin Thicke guessed Tracy Morgan, Ken Jeong threw out DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Rita Ora leaned in with a hunch that connected to Jenny McCarthy's longtime dream contestant. Turns out, Jenny had been manifesting this moment, because it was none other than Flavor Flav behind the sparkling helmet.

"That was definitely a whole total crazy experience for me," Flav told The Blast during a press conference for his new Raising Cane's campaign. "And not only that, but that was something that was on my bucket list. I've always wanted to do that show. I've been trying to get on that show for years… I finally got my opportunity to do it."

Flav also joked about the obvious clues that gave him away.

"My voice is one of the most distinctive voices in the history of music," he said. "Nobody's voice has been sampled more than mine's ever. So, when you hear my voice, and you look at those easy clues… then I talk about the hardware that I wear around my neck. Everybody knows Flav's known for clocks… and the belt I had on? It was a clock belt, and they showed that belt twice."

And if there was anyone who recognized him right away, it was host Nick Cannon.

"Nick Cannon, that is my guy, you hear me?" Flav shared. "As soon as I stepped out on that stage, and I sang the first note, he said, I know who that is… This is one of my most favorite people on the planet. When Nick Cannon said that, man, I felt big, man."

As for the suit? It wasn't exactly a walk in the park.

"Jumping in and out of the Space Ranger suit… it was fun, [but] it was interesting," he said. "It was something that I didn't think I could pull off, but I said to myself, I better pull it off."

Despite only lasting two weeks, Flav said it was one of the best experiences he has ever had.

'The Masked Singer' Final 5

The stage is set and the costumes are crazier than ever as "The Masked Singer" enters its Final 5: Boogie Woogie, Coral, Mad Scientist Monster, Nessy, and Pearl.

Fans are placing their bets, with Boogie Woogie emerging as a top suspect for singer Andy Grammer. The animated performer shared he grew up chasing attention with juggling and magic before hitting the streets to busk, though a stack of quarters and a copy of Boogie Woogie Magazine suggest it didn't always pay the bills.

Meanwhile, Coral has viewers convinced she's "ZOMBIES" star Meg Donnelly. She opened up about years of rejection before one "yes" launched her to global recognition. Clues like a white model home with an American flag, a broken heart on a screen, and a glowing "live" sign all nod to her singing and acting career.
