Flavor Flav Welcomes Another Athlete Into His Clock Olympics: Who Had The Honor?
By Kelly Coffey-Behrens on April 24, 2025 at 9:00 AM EDT

Hot off his surprise cameos with Yo Gabba Gabba! and Green Day at Coachella, not to mention his wild reveal as Space Ranger on "The Masked Singer," Flavor Flav has officially clocked in as the new face of Raising Cane’s. And yes, he’s bringing all the flavor and all the bling.
At the heart of the fast food chain’s new Flavor Fast campaign is Flav’s signature look: bedazzled clock necklaces.
To celebrate the launch, fans can score an extremely limited number of custom Raising Cane’s x Flavor Flav clocks beginning at 10 a.m. CST on April 23 on RaisingCanesGear.com. Even better? Net proceeds benefit the Women’s Sports Foundation.
Flavor Flav Honors Paralympic Icon Jessica Long at Cane’s Event

Each piece was handcrafted by Kelly Salvagio of Rock N Stonez, the same jeweler behind Flav’s iconic clocks, and they’re already shaping up to be collector's items.
To mark the moment, Flav showed up at the Cane’s flagship location for a shift, and brought some serious star power with him. Joining him was none other than Paralympic legend Jessica Long, who boasts a jaw-dropping 31 Paralympic medals and four ESPY Awards.
“Can I tell you something? I am so proud of you, just know that,” Flav told Long at the event, which The Blast attended. “What you achieved, it's gonna be hard for somebody to follow that… She is the gold. You hear me? The greatest of all time.”
He even joked about racing her in the pool. “We have to jump in the water one day and we gotta do the butterfly," he said as he demonstrated the butterfly stroke.
Flav Surprises Paralympic Legend Jessica Long With Custom Clock

The celebration took a touching turn when Flav surprised Long with one of the limited-edition clocks, calling her “the gold” in front of a cheering crowd.
“Giving back is always important. I get a lot of love, but that’s because I gave love first,” said Flavor. “I’m so proud of Jessica and everything she’s achieved – it’s going to be hard for someone to beat this record of 31 medals. She’s the GOAT. The Olympics gave her many medals and it was time for me to give her one of mine.”
Long, clearly touched, responded, “I'm going to put this right with my other gold medals… The Olympics gave you a medal? Now you're in the Flav-Olympics now.”
Flavor Flav Gets Real About Supporting Women’s Sports

For Flav, the partnership is personal, especially when it comes to supporting female athletes.
“I’m a girl dad. I have four daughters and want women to be recognized for all the good they’re doing, which is why I try to bring awareness to women’s sports,” he said. “I want people to remember them after the game. Women are just as important as any other athlete.”
He even promised to be there cheering in 2028: “I’m going to come support you in LA in 2028. I'm coming to her meetings. I'm going to support her.”
Flav Sponsors U.S. Women’s Water Polo Team

Flavor Flav’s commitment to women’s sports runs even deeper — all the way to the Olympic pool. The unexpected (and kind of amazing) partnership began when U.S. women’s water polo captain Maggie Steffens posted on Instagram asking for support for her underfunded team. Flav’s manager saw it, and the rest is history.
Flav didn’t just repost or show love from the sidelines — he sponsored the team and showed up in full force.
“I've always wanted to know what it feels like to be at the Olympics because I've always watched it on television,” Flav said at the Raising Cane’s event. “I've never ever been around it ever. Having the opportunity to sponsor the United States Olympic water polo team gave me the reason and the chance to travel to Paris and attend the Olympics.”
He added, “I would like to emphasize that it was one of the most breathtaking moments of my life. Dream come true.”
Flavor Flav Cheered On Simone Biles, Met Billie Jean King, And Took Her To Lunch

And water polo wasn’t the only event on Flav’s Olympic itinerary.
“Me going over to the floor exercises this year, number one, and I got to see Simone Biles and Jordan Childs winning gold medals,” he shared. “And not only that, but that's also the day that I met the great Billie Jean King.”
Oh, and he didn’t just meet the tennis icon, he took her and her wife Alana to lunch. “We had a nice lunch, nice, you know it was nice, it was great.”
