Flavor Flav Swaps Beats For Box Combos In Hype-Fueled Raising Cane’s Campaign

Flavor Flav is taking his hype to the fryer.
The legendary rapper, pop culture icon, and official hype man for the 2024 Paris Olympics just clocked in, literally, at Raising Cane’s in Las Vegas to celebrate his new role as the face of the chicken chain’s latest campaign: Flavor Fast. And yes, he rocked the counter like only Flavor Flav could.
To launch the nationwide campaign dropping April 23, Flav pulled up to work a shift as a Fry Cook & Cashier, flipping box combos instead of beats and proving that when time (and hunger) is running low, it’s officially Cane’s O’ Clock. And The Blast was there on site to see it all unfold.
Flavor Flav Joins Forces With Raising Cane’s, Says Their Chicken Fingers ‘Don’t Taste Like Any Other’

“To tell you the truth, because I am the host with the most,” Flav said during a press conference when talking about the collab. “I love their chicken, and I love the toast. It's the combination man of these chicken fingers and this toast. And not only that, but these chicken fingers don't taste like no other chicken fingers that I've ever tasted.”
“I mean my name is Flavor. Raising Cane's is full of flavor, and you got a whole bunch of flavors right here on this tray right now,” he added. “And who's no better to represent flavors than your man, Flavor Flav. So, Raising Cane's, I think y'all did the right thing by getting Flavor of Flames.”
And he didn’t stop there. “Raising Cane's got their own special taste, not like Kentucky Fried Chicken or like a Popeye's or something, you know? Everybody's got their own unique taste. Raising Cane's got this unique taste on these chicken fingers. And then when you bite that chicken finger with the toast, oh my god, your taste buds explode, that's what brought me on board.”
Flav Drops Limited-Edition Cane’s Clock Necklace, And It’s For A Great Cause

Following his viral Coachella appearances with Yo Gabba Gabba and Green Day, and that unforgettable stint as the Space Ranger on The Masked Singer, Flavor Flav is now adding “chicken connoisseur” to his ever-growing resume.
And in true Flav fashion, he’s bringing the bling. To celebrate the Flavor Fast campaign, Flav is dropping an exclusive, limited-edition Raising Cane’s x Flavor Flav clock necklace, designed by Rock N Stonez, the same jeweler behind pieces for Billie Eilish and gymnast Jordan Chiles.
Flavor Flav’s Blinged-Out Cane’s Clock Launches April 23

Available starting at 10 a.m. CST on April 23 at RaisingCanesGear.com, the limited run of bedazzled clocks will be signed by Flav himself, with net proceeds going to The Women’s Sports Foundation.
“Giving back is always important,” Flav said. “The one thing that you can't do constantly is receive, receive, receive and not give back, and I've been getting a lot of love, but that's because I gave it first… It’s always important to give first, to give love first, so you can give it back.”
“One thing, if you know about Flavor Flav, Flavor Flav is a people's person because I love people and the reason why I love people is because it was people that made me who I am,” he said during the press conference. “It was people who put me in this position right here, right now, to rock with you guys. So I'll always love people just as I love my food, like I love my Raising Cane’s.
Flav Serves Fans And Spits Bars During Wild Vegas Shift At Raising Cane’s

Raising Cane’s went all in on Flavor Flav as the Public Enemy icon brought his signature energy to the Vegas location. While “on the clock,” he greeted fans, served up meals, and even gave building the perfect Box Combo a shot, before hitting the stage to perform “Every Where Man.”
“Flavor Flav is an icon in many ways and I couldn’t think of anyone better to join us at Cane’s today and be the face of our upcoming campaign about flavor,” Todd Graves, CEO of Raising Cane’s, said. “He’s a great guy and we share a passion for helping others, so it makes me proud that we can team together and support the Women’s Sports Foundation and continue making a difference.”
