Amanda Bynes reportedly plans to use OnlyFans as a "career renaissance" after her exit from Hollywood.
The former child star joined the platform earlier in the month with a disclaimer that she won't be posting any sleazy content.
Amanda Bynes is also reportedly brushing off concerns from friends, who are worried about her decision to join OnlyFans.
The Former Child Star Wants To Use OnlyFans As A 'Career Renaissance'

Bynes stunned fans when she unexpectedly joined OnlyFans earlier in the month. While many assumed she would follow the typical route of risqué content, Bynes quickly made it clear that she had no intention of posting anything "sleazy."
Now, reports have shed light on her true purpose; the former Nickelodeon star is said to be using the popular platform as a tool for a bold "career renaissance" while making some money on the side.
"Amanda was looking into making money and is convinced that OnlyFans will bring some serious cash her way," a source told the Daily Mail. "Her intentions are to do this before she seeks any reality show opportunities."
According to the insider, Bynes isn't ignorant of how the X-rated platform is perceived by the public, which was why she shared the no "sleazy content" disclaimer upon joining.
"She understands the stigma around OnlyFans, but she is determined to make this very safe – nothing naughty," the source added.
What Amanda Bynes Plans To Share On The Platform

On OnlyFans, Bynes intends to "share some of her future designs with her fans," putting to work all of the skills she learnt during her time at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising(FIDM).
She also plans to "collaborate" with them, possibly for the production of a new fashion line in the future.
But perhaps the most intriguing angle about her decision is how the platform will serve as a tell-all space where Bynes plans to spill the details of her time with Nickelodeon.
"[Bynes] also wants to tell stories to people who don't know everything about what happened from her past at Nickelodeon," the insider noted about the former child star. "She wants to make it a spot where fans can go and treat it like a meet and greet."
As she forges ahead, Bynes isn't giving any thought to criticism from her friends as she is "looking to change course on how she has lived her life the last few years."
Experts Claim The Former Actress Would Make A Killing On OnlyFans

Bynes' decision to join OnlyFans could bring in a substantial income for the "Big Fat Liar" star even without adult content.
Sexologist and OnlyFans creator Dr. Tiffany Chan told Daily Mail that Bynes' nostalgic appeal alone could attract a broad audience and potentially earn her a solid stream of revenue.
"If it's just her and the only plan is to chat with fans, it could be lucrative for her and she may even attract a large female following," Dr. Chan explained. "I grew up watching [Nickelodeon series] 'All That' when she was on it, and having a favorite star from your childhood suddenly available to chat is quite an interesting idea."
She continued: "I think there is a large amount of curiosity that will play into an initial flood of fans eager to chat with her."
Chan also noted that a growing number of creators are opting for "SFW [safe for work] OnlyFans accounts, which seems to be an interesting shift, and it seems this might be the avenue Bynes is going for."
The expert explained that while it is hard to pinpoint an exact figure, Bynes's star power could easily bring in five figures weekly through her OnlyFans account, or "even more given her popularity."
Amanda Bynes Retired From Acting At 24

Bynes rose to fame as a child star on the Nickelodeon network, where she appeared in hit shows like "Figure It Out" and "All That."
She went on to have her own eponymous sketch show, followed by a lead role in the short-lived WB series "What I Like About You."
Up next was a string of comedies, including "What a Girl Wants," "She's the Man," and "Hairspray," which earned her critical acclaim, nominations, and awards.
Then, in a move that shocked fans and Hollywood alike, Bynes announced she was stepping away from acting at just 24, stating she had lost interest in continuing her career in the industry.
"Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem," Bynes wrote in a tweet at the time, per the New York Post. "If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it. I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it."
"I know 24 is a young age to retire, but you heard it here first," Bynes added. "I've #retired"
The Former Actress Has Lived A Troubled Life

Following her early retirement from acting, Amanda Bynes' life took a troubled turn marked by legal and personal struggles.
In 2012, she was arrested for DUI after crashing her black BMW into a police cruiser. That same year, she faced two additional charges for separate hit-and-run incidents. Then in 2014, she was arrested once more on another DUI charge, with reports at the time alleging she was under the influence of marijuana, per Page Six.
Beyond her legal troubles, Bynes' mental health began to deteriorate. She was hospitalized several times for psychiatric issues, and in 2014, her condition prompted her parents to seek a conservatorship after she was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold.
The court granted their request, and the conservatorship remained in place for eight years, finally coming to an end in 2022.
