Sydney Sweeney In Braless Open Jacket Told To Stop 'Exposing' Herself

Sydney Sweeney received mixed feedback on her brazen topless photo last year, one shared on her Instagram as she promoted the Miu Miu designer she is signed to.

In December 2024, the actress showed off her famous curves from an NYC rooftop, flaunting her cleavage in a bare-chested look while modeling an open jacket and jeans.

Throwing back her head while teasing her ample chest, Sydney dropped jaws in a knitted, stylish cardigan look worn open, but not everyone was keen on the eye-popping finish. One fan even accused the star of exposing herself, advising that she'd only be taken "seriously" if she started covering up.

Adding a mid-rise pair of body-hugging jeans, Sydney kept her ensemble casual, but that braless open finish was bringing the heat. The A-lister wore her hair down, tilting her head back a little while posing with closed eyes.

Ditching any accessories, Sydney kept glam with a chic manicure, plus a full face of matte makeup. That said, fans didn't seem too interested in discussing her cosmetics. "Rain rain go away," she captioned the Instagram post, one earning her over 4 million likes.

Fan comments poured in here and on The Daily Mail, and it was on the latter that users were more critical. Over 100 users agreed when one fan said: "If you want to be taken seriously about anything, don't expose your bits."

Sydney's post came shortly after she clapped back at the tirade of body-shaming comments she'd received on social media. "Then she complains that people only talk about her body and don't take her acting seriously," another replied, earning over 90 upvotes for their comment. Fans got another reminder of Sydney Sweeney's curves in this snap, one showing her all smiles as she rocked casual pants and a plunging brown bikini top.

Hanging out with her dog as she enjoyed a day on the water, Sydney wrote: "Good times and tan lines." Over 3 million likes have been left, including celebrity likes from actress Lindsay Lohan and TikTok star Addison Rae.

Sydney Sweeney covered up a little more in the above photo, this time slipping into her promo shoes for Laneige Beauty. Rocking a fitted, baby pink dress, she held up a brand of the K-beauty brand's merchandise, reminding everyone of her endorsement potential as she plugged another brand.
