Seann William Scott Still Butting Heads With His Ex-Wife Months After Divorce Settlement

The dust has not fully settled between Seann William Scott and his estranged wife!

The actor's former wife has now accused him of trying to make a drastic change to her living arrangement, which includes joint legal and physical custody of their child.

Seann William Scott filed for divorce from Olivia Korenberg after four years of marriage in February 2024. The actor cited irreconcilable differences for their split and charged the court to enforce their prenuptial agreement.

Scott's ex-wife accused him of trying to evict her from his Malibu home, a $3 million property. Their existing arrangement grants them joint legal and physical custody.

Following this, the actor's ex's motion requests that the court prevent Scott from forcing her and their daughter to leave the home where they have been living. 

She also seeks permission to relocate more than 20 miles from Scott's residence, citing her limited financial resources as a factor that would not allow her to continue living in Malibu.

According to Korenberg, Scott has significant financial assets, including his debt-free Malibu home valued at over $10 million and another empty home in Venice worth over $4 million. 

According to In Touch, the actor's former wife alleged that in 2024, Scott purchased a $3.5 million home in Malibu with the understanding that she and their daughter could live there until their daughter turned 18. 

However, she claims Scott later limited their stay to just one year, which she felt was unacceptable, as it lacked the stability she needed.

Korenberg initially agreed to a living arrangement with Scott, but she expressed that it has created financial strain for her. Since moving into the home in April 2024, she noted that Scott encouraged her to invest in improvements, implying that they would be living there long-term. 

They had also established a 50/50 custody schedule due to their proximity, with Korenberg accommodating Scott's busy work commitments. However, issues arose in November 2024 when the actor's ex mentioned she intended to introduce her new partner, and Scott chose not to meet him. 

Shortly after, Korenberg received an email from Scott indicating that he planned to sell the home, requiring her and their daughter to vacate by May 3. 

She described feeling "blindsided" by this decision, reporting that as of June 30, she and her daughter would be homeless and that she could not afford housing in Malibu. 

Korenberg also highlighted concerns about their safety, citing frequent evacuations due to wildfires. Despite the situation, she noted that Scott never offered for them to stay in his vacant bungalow in Venice. 

The actor's ex is now actively seeking new housing but is uncertain about future child support, which adds to her challenges. She emphasized her role as the primary parent to their daughter, acknowledging Scott as a caring father but indicating that he is not involved in day-to-day parenting. 

She pointed out that their daughter is accustomed to long periods apart from Scott due to his career, and they have maintained their bond through FaceTime and phone calls.

Korenberg further expressed concerns about Scott's parenting, highlighting his alleged lack of communication regarding their daughter's safety. 

She raised specific concerns about one of the actor's friends being around their daughter, mentioning that the last time she saw this friend, he was highly intoxicated. 

Korenberg claimed the friend used vulgar language in her presence, gave her a taste of his martini without consent, and created an unsafe environment around her.

The furniture designer noted that she estimates Scott's monthly earnings to be approximately $148,000. She believes the current child support of $6,000 per month was determined under the assumption of a 50/50 custody arrangement. Now, Korenberg is seeking to modify it to gain more custody of their child. 

Additionally, Korenberg claimed that the child support amount was initially based on her living in Scott's home. This situation has changed as he no longer permits her to stay there.

Consequently, she argues that child support should be increased. Furthermore, the furniture designer requests that the actor not be allowed to evict her from the home until the court decides on her custody request. 

She also seeks $75,000 in attorney fees and an additional $50,000 for accounting fees. Earlier this year, the actor disclosed his substantial six-figure monthly income amid ongoing divorce proceedings.

In 2024, The Blast noted that a judge approved the divorce of Scott and Korenberg, finalizing their separation on August 21, 2024, due to irreconcilable differences.

The former couple's prenuptial agreement, established before their September 2019 wedding, was acknowledged as "valid and enforceable" regarding property and expense division.

Scott's divorce settlement details also reveal that he has accumulated significant bills, including a $10,000 fee owed to Korenberg's attorney for unpaid counsel fees related to the proceedings.

Despite previously paying Korenberg's legal team $25,000, Scott is not eligible for reimbursement and has stated that he will not cover any additional fees incurred during the divorce.

Scott retained his clothing, jewelry, various personal belongings, and all earnings and assets accumulated during and after the marriage. The assets covered his real estate properties, bank accounts, and cars.

Similarly, Korenberg kept her personal items, household furniture, and all assets registered in her name. This includes a 2022 Range Rover and her earnings from the marriage.
