Savannah Chrisley is continuing to open up about her split from her ex-boyfriend, Robert Shiver.
During her latest podcast episode, which was released on April 15, 2025, the reality star said she received words of wisdom from Brittany Aldean, the wife of country singer Jason Aldean.
According to Savannah Chrisley, Aldean wanted her to cut off contact with Robert so he could see how life was without her. However, that hasn't been easy for the former pageant queen.
Brittany Aldean Told Savannah Chrisley To 'Block' Robert Shiver
In the most recent "Unlocked" episode, Savannah said she spoke with Aldean about her split from Robert, who gave her very clear orders. "I told her what happened. She was like, ‘Savannah, you gotta change your number or block him,'" she recalled.
Savannah continued, “[Aldean told me], ‘There can be no contact whatsoever. He has to realize how life is without you."
Savannah noted that she "failed ... miserably" at that task because of her budding relationship with Robert's three sons.
Savannah Chrisley Hasn't Taken Aldean's Advice Just Yet

Savannah, who rose to fame alongside her family in their reality show "Chrisley Knows Best," hinted that she hasn't been able to take Aldean's advice entirely, especially since she'll likely see Robert and his children for the upcoming Easter holiday.
"Chances are I’ll probably do Easter celebrations too [for his kids] against everyone’s advice to me," she said. "My therapist and my friends. It is just because I love them. It’s so hard for me to fathom not showing up for them. Brittany told me to cut all ties."
She explained that although she still speaks with Robert, it's not as often as it may seem.
"I haven’t done a great job at [cutting him off]. Robert and I, we’ve gone a while without speaking, but something will pop up and we’ll check in for some odd reason. But we’re not talking every day. We’re not doing all of that."
Savannah Chrisley Says Her Split From Robert Is Because Of His Estranged Wife, Lindsay Shiver

Elsewhere, during her podcast, Savannah said the main reason she and Robert split after two years of dating was because of the "chaos" his estranged wife, Lindsay, caused.
For those unfamiliar with the situation, Lindsay was arrested in 2023 after being accused by law enforcement of plotting Robert's murder. She was held in Fox Hill Prison in The Bahamas before being released on bail in February 2025. Her trial is set for August 2025.
Although Robert was in the beginning stages of his divorce when he met with Savannah, there hasn't been much progress.
“He’s no farther along in his divorce today than he was the day that I met him, which is absolutely insane. And that’s a whole other thing,” Savannah said. “I will never ever forgive her for what she has put Robert and [his three sons] through. I don’t believe that Robert and I would be where we were at today if she wouldn’t have caused so much mass destruction. And it’s really caused me to sit back.”
Lindsay Caused 'Chaos,' According to Savannah

“I feel like men always get the bad rap in relationships," Savannah continued. "It’s always, ‘Men do this, that, whatever.’ Well, we, as women, can also cause a lot of destruction along the way. It’s just the truth of the matter. And that’s what [Lindsay] did. She caused a lot of destruction, and she absolutely destroyed a great man."
The reality star continued, blasting Lindsay for ruining her and Robert's "routines" with her "chaos."
“We were in our routines with not only Robert and I but also the kids. It was a drama-free zone. Then when she would come back to the U.S., not only did she come back but the chaos came back with her,” she claimed. “It’s like she wanted to destroy everything in his path and her path. There was never any sense of care for another individual other than herself.”
Savannah Cried For 'Hours' Following Split From Robert

After Robert ended things with Savannah, the 27-year-old admitted she cried for "hours" on her drive back home after hearing his final words.
“He says he did it because he loves me. I do know and believe that he loves me. So that sucked, and I will never forget driving away from Robert’s house and just sobbing hysterically in tears,” she recalled. “I cried the whole way home, seven to eight hours. I just cried. I didn’t know what to do.”
In a previous interview, Savannah spoke candidly about whether she saw a marriage with Robert in the future.
"I think what I love is that we're not even really focused on that. I feel like it's so easy to get caught up. Society loves to put a timeline on things like, 'Oh, you've been together for two years. You need to get engaged; you need to get married,'" she said.
According to her, when the situation is right, "you don't need all these crazy, outward, extravagant things to prove your love for someone."
