‘Temptation Island’ Tempters React To Explosive Brion Threesome: 'Heartbroken'

"Temptation Island" delivered one of its wildest moments yet, and it happened behind closed doors (literally).

Brion Whitley shocked viewers when he quietly slipped into a bathroom with singles Alex and Courtney, making sure no one was watching.

While cameras didn’t capture the explicit visuals, the audio left little to the imagination as Brion was heard telling the women he liked to “watch before indulging,” followed by a crescendo of moaning and unmistakable slapping sounds.

But this wasn’t just a spontaneous hookup ... it was a setup.

Before the encounter, Alex and Courtney revealed to producers that they had been trying to “call Brion out on his sh-t” and came up with a plan to get him to “crack.”

Their plan clearly worked, which left Shanté Glover, whom Brion came to the island with, understandably upset.

During the couple’s final bonfire on "Temptation Island," emotions ran high as Shanté confronted Brion about his betrayal and his apparent lack of remorse over the threesome. Brion became visibly emotional, tearing up as he apologized and insisted that the experience had changed him.

At first, Shanté appeared ready to walk away, telling Brion she was choosing to prioritize herself. However, after a heartfelt and lengthy conversation, she ultimately decided to give him another chance, believing he had grown from the experience.

After seeing the two leave hand in hand, viewers fumed and criticized Shanté. The online drama has gotten so out of hand that some of the "Temptation Island" alums are calling for peace and love instead of hate.

On a recent "Temptation Island" reunion, which The Blast got an exclusive sneak peek of, Kay Carlson admitted that watching Brion and Shanté's relationship was actually "way more surprising to me to watch than any other part of the story because I think we all saw a really different side of Brion."

Kay added:

"We saw him as the class clown in the house. He was always goofing off, just having a good time, so, watching the show, you see him being very intense, saying these things, leaving us wondering, 'Why would you say that? Like, why would you say that knowing you're on camera on Netflix?''

While it was difficult to watch back, Kay said it also "gave her a better understanding" because she thinks "Brion truly believed that this was part of the experience."

"I think he was confused by the experience, honestly," she said. "Because I think when he had the threesome, I truly believe that he thought this is what the experience is for. This is the problem [Brion and Shanté are] having in [their] relationship and [he thought] 'I'm doing this, and now I've figured it out, and now we can be together because I realize this isn't the problem.'"

"I think we judge Shanté very hard," she continued, describing the backlash her castmate is receiving. "But Ashley took back a cheater. Tayler took back a cheater. How many girls have taken back a cheater? We don't understand it, but it happens every single day. So it's really easy for us to sit here and be, like, 'I don't get it.'"

"I was screaming at my TV, too. Believe me. I was, like, 'Are you kidding? How are you guys going to stay together?'" she admitted. "But I also am aware that girls take back guys that go and have threesomes, every single weekend at the club, and they're booed up with them right now. So, I think we all need to be way more compassionate towards Shanté."

"Because if people want to say that could never be me, it could always be you," she concluded.

Danny Spongberg also chimed in, sharing his opinion on the threesome.

"What broke my heart was when, right before the threesome, when Brion was looking out the door," he explained. "Looking back and forth for, like, a minute. It could have been longer, or it could have been shorter. However long he actually was before he went into the bathroom, but if I watched that and saw my girlfriend debating a threesome for, like, two minutes, and then end up going into it, it's over. That broke my heart."

Since filming ended, Shanté has announced that she and Brion have mutually decided to part ways.
