Olivia Dunne: A Sports Illustrated Natural

This marks Dunne’s third appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and her latest shoot — captured in Bermuda by Ben Watts — might just be her boldest yet. In one look, she rocks a revealing leopard print bikini with leather straps. From Balance Beam To Baseball Season

Dunne recently confirmed she’ll be retiring from gymnastics after the NCAA Championship on April 18, following a kneecap injury sustained in March. After dedicating nearly two decades to the sport, she’s looking forward to healing, rest, and a new chapter — one that includes more time with boyfriend and Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher, Paul Skenes.

“I’m going to be done with gymnastics, which is a crazy thing to say,” Dunne told PEOPLE. “I’m super excited to be able to spend time with Paul… and enjoy the baseball season.”

Life Beyond The Gym

Though she’s stepping away from gymnastics, Dunne’s schedule is anything but slow. She recently launched her own Cotton Candy flavor with Accelerator energy drinks, which comes with custom pink-and-blue packaging she says “felt very authentic to me.” As both an investor and ambassador for the brand, she’s leaning into her influencer role with full force.

Modeling gigs, brand deals, and red carpet events are all on the horizon — including ongoing collaborations with Sports Illustrated and other fashion ventures.

Fighting For Athletes’ Rights

Off the mat and away from the camera, Dunne has become a powerful voice in collegiate sports. She recently spoke out against a proposed $2.8 billion NCAA settlement, arguing that it fails to fairly compensate student-athletes for their name, image, and likeness (NIL).

As one of the top-earning female athletes in the NCAA, her perspective carries weight — and she’s making sure the next generation of athletes has a louder voice.

A New Chapter, On Her Terms

With her gymnastics career winding down and her modeling and influencer status rising, Olivia Dunne is entering a new phase — one that balances her love life, career goals, and personal growth. While she won’t be able to attend all 162 of Skenes’ games this MLB season, she’s ready to enjoy her newfound freedom.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun,” she said. “I’m excited to lean into this new lifestyle and be there for Paul — but I’ll also be doing my own thing.”

And if this behind-the-scenes bikini moment is any indication, Dunne is only just getting started.
