It seems no subject matter is off-limits for Kellie Pickler and her former in-laws in court, including their late son's funeral! The singer is now dealing with fresh demands from her ex-in-laws over her late husband Kyle Jacobs' funeral and cremation.

Kyle's parents are now seeking information related to Kyle's funeral and cremation while challenging Kellie in court.
According to court documents, they issued a subpoena to Harpeth Memorial Gardens Funeral Home & Cremation Center, requesting specific documents about Kyle's funeral arrangements.
They claim the funeral home has not complied with the subpoena despite not raising any objections. The couple is reportedly interested in details regarding the conversations that took place with Kellie and the personal belongings of Kyle that were delivered to the funeral home.
As confirmed by In Touch, Reed and Sharon also want information about what items, if any, were cremated with him. Additionally, they want to review any documents related to the services provided in conjunction with Kyle's passing.
Kyle's Parents Demanded Their Late Son's Wife Be Found In Contempt Of Court

Reed and Sharon previously petitioned the court to hold Kellie in contempt for not complying with a subpoena to present certain property at their lawyer's office.
Kellie countered by arguing that a court did not officially issue the subpoena, rendering it unenforceable. She described the request as unreasonable, citing the inclusion of items such as a gun safe, multiple firearms, and a grand piano as "unsafe and frankly absurd" to bring to a law office.
Additionally, Kellie asked the court to declare her the sole beneficiary of her late husband Kyle's estate. She insisted that all personal property, funds, and assets at the time of his death be distributed entirely to her.
She also expressed concern that Reed and Sharon may have already taken items or used estate funds and demanded a complete accounting of the estate's status.
Moreover, Kellie requested the appointment of an administrator ad litem and the suspension of Kyle's parents' letters of administration, which she plans to submit as part of her case. A hearing regarding these issues is scheduled for later this month.
Reed And Sharon Claims Their Former Daughter-In-Law Granted Them Access To Kyle's Home

Reed and Sharon did not stall in issuing an equally fiery response to Kellie's legal filing. The couple argued that Kellie and her legal team had provided inconsistent statements about the whereabouts of several personal items that belonged to their late son.
"[Kellie] and her counsel have provided conflicting information regarding the location and rightful possession of the items listed and, as set forth hereinabove, have admitted [Kellie] is in possession of several items of property of [Kyle]," the couple stated in court documents.
While the singer claimed she never received a clear list of what was taken, Kyle's parents countered that she had actually invited them to her home after his death. They added that she had even pre-packed items in the garage for them to collect.
Kellie Recruits New Attorney To Challenge Her In-Law's Subpoena

Kellie proved she meant business last month as she continues taking a strong stand in the ongoing legal battle with her in-laws regarding her late husband's estate.
The Blast shared that to bolster her defense, she enlisted the help of prominent attorney John I. Harris to join her already impressive legal team, which includes William Harbison, Lisa Helton, and Andrea Sinclair.
This decision comes as Kellie challenged a subpoena issued by Kyle's parents, who were appointed co-administrators of his estate after she declined the role. The subpoena listed a variety of items allegedly belonging to Kyle, including a Rolex, rare guitars, a Samurai sword, and baseball cards.
Kellie contended that many items are either not in her possession or their ownership is disputed. Additionally, she raised concerns about her former in-laws taking several items from her home after Kyle's passing without providing any record of what was taken.
