Lewber made allegations that Vanderpump attempted to persuade her to remain with her ex-boyfriend following his December 2024 arrest for domestic violence after a relapse.

In the recent episode of the "Viall Files" podcast, Lewber recounted that Vanderpump reached out to check on her several months after the incident, which she found somewhat unwarranted at the time.

Describing Vanderpump as caring and "very protective over James," Lewber initially found this behavior strange when she joined "Vanderpump Rules" in Season 10. However, she began to understand the dynamic better.

According to the internet sensation, Vanderpump expressed that she believed they were good together and suggested that Lewber accompany Kennedy to his DJ shows for the weekend.

Lewber reflected on the night that began with excitement after recording the first episode of her podcast, "StarStruck," featuring Kennedy as a guest.

However, the mood shifted dramatically at Kathy Hilton's Christmas party. While working at the event, Lewber reportedly noticed Kennedy drinking secretly, and his behavior changed significantly after they left.

Initially doubtful about his sobriety, she soon recognized that something was wrong. Tensions rose afterward during a car ride home as they argued about his condition, with Kennedy denying he was drunk.

The situation escalated after they exited the Uber, prompting Lewber to request that the police administer a breathalyzer test. Although the police were unable to do so, they confirmed that Kennedy was intoxicated.
