Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco brought a touch of Western charm to the East Coast this week, making a stylish courtside appearance at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks vs. Celtics game on Tuesday night.
The engaged couple, who rarely miss the chance to express themselves through fashion, coordinated in rodeo-inspired ensembles that blended cozy winter layers with statement-making details.
Though the pair often opt for opposing fashion vibes, Selena Gomez leaning polished and classic, Benny Blanco favoring bold and eclectic, this latest public appearance marked a rare but charming style sync.

Gomez braved the chill in a rich brown suede coat layered over a cream sweater and paired with classic bootcut jeans. A nod to Americana came through in her cowboy-style boots, a bold yet grounded touch that brought the look together effortlessly.
Her signature brunette locks were worn sleek and straight, complemented by soft, natural makeup, a minimalist approach that allowed her outfit (and her ring) to shine.

Blanco leaned into his now-signature cowboy energy with his cow-print trousers, a piece that’s quickly become his personal trademark. He layered the pants with a blue and white striped button-up, black boots, and a camel-hued wool coat that coordinated perfectly with Gomez’s outerwear.
The New York Knicks themselves took notice, posting a sweet photo of the couple on Instagram with the caption, “couple of love birds in @TheGarden.” In the image, Gomez proudly displayed her marquise-cut engagement ring, designed by Abril Barret, while Blanco affectionately held her legs close, a candid moment that sent fans into a frenzy.
“Mom and Dad,” one fan commented, while another summed it up simply, “obsessed with them.”
Just last month, during a date night in New York, Gomez stunned in a tailored black suit and a statement Schiaparelli Face bag, while Blanco wore the same cow-print trousers paired with a vibrantly embroidered shirt.
Benny Blanco Jokes He 'Looked Like A Slob' Next To Selena Gomez

The couple made their Oscars red carpet debut on March 2, turning heads with a perfectly imperfect contrast in style, and Blanco is the first to admit it.
During an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", the music producer reflected on the glamorous night, giving his fiancée her well-earned flowers, and himself a bit of self-deprecating shade.
“I looked like a slob,” Blanco joked, sitting beside Gomez. While the "Only Murders in the Building" actress stunned in a custom off-the-shoulder rose gold Ralph Lauren gown, covered in over 16,000 hand-sewn glass droplets and Rosemont crystals, Blanco opted for a more relaxed look featuring an all-white suit adorned with a diamond brooch, layered under a black floral-embellished overcoat.
Selena Gomez’s Oscars Gown Was So Extra, She Couldn’t Even Sit Down

The red carpet may have sparkled, but the road to the Dolby Theatre was anything but smooth.
“Getting her there was so hard,” Blanco revealed, referencing the intricacies of Gomez’s dazzling gown. “First of all, the dress is 35 pounds! She’s carrying a 35-pound dress and her heels are eight inches high. and then she has to stand on a bus while we’re moving because she can’t sit down.”
Adding to the cinematic chaos? “Sewing her into the dress while we’re moving,” Blanco added. The gown, styled by Molly Dickinson, was inspired by screen legend Sophia Loren, and even involved working with Loren’s original tailor to perfect the silhouette.
It marked Gomez’s first-ever Oscars appearance, where her film "Emilia Pérez" earned multiple nominations.
Selena Gomez Admits She Was ‘Grumpy And Tired’ The Day Benny Blanco Proposed

Gomez may have gotten the surprise of a lifetime when Blanco popped the question, but as she recently revealed, it didn’t start off as a fairytale day.
During an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," the singer and actress opened up about Blanco’s proposal, sharing that she was less than thrilled when the special moment began to unfold.
“I woke up and was very confused on what was happening or where we were going because it seemed kind of far. I was kind of a little grumpy [and] really tired,” Gomez said of the day Blanco asked her to visit the set where they were working on their joint album, "I Said I Love You First."
In fact, she recalled telling him she’d rather “go hang out with [her] friends” after the studio session, clearly unaware that something much bigger was in store. But even with a sluggish start, the proposal itself turned into a dream.
Gomez said the moment “went off without a hitch” and confessed that she “freaked out” in the best way possible.
