Blake Lively has reportedly started to "regret" filing a lawsuit against her former co-star, Justin Baldoni, as their legal battle heats up.

The actress was recently spotted looking "forlorn" at a location far from Hollywood, as insiders claim she is "striving for normalcy" in her life again.

This comes after one of the co-stars in "It Ends With Us" broke his silence about being named in Blake Lively's sexual harassment suit against Justin Baldoni and is willing to testify against the actress.

Lively and her husband, Reynolds, are said to be hopeful that they can return to the way things were for them before the legal drama.

They continued, "Ryan was on a tremendous high with the success of [his 2024 movie] Deadpool, and Blake was living a pretty wonderful life herself. Whether it is found that they are in the right or not [in the fight with Baldoni], this will have repercussions for years to come."

Amid Lively's ongoing lawsuit against Baldoni, one of the co-stars, Adam Mondschein, from "It Ends With Us," has spoken up about the actress including him in the suit.

As part of her original and amended complaint, Lively had claimed that Baldoni cast Mondschein as her OBGYN in a "violative birthing scene."

Calling Mondschein the director's "best friend," Lively also noted that his selection for this "intimate role," in which his "face and hands were in close proximity to her nearly nude genitalia for a birth scene, was invasive and humiliating."

In response, Mondschein revealed that he was "surprised to read" the actress's description of the scene, according to The Blast.

He also claimed that Lively was more clothed than she had stated and had the ability to choose other garments to wear during the scene to cover up.

"Her costume included a full hospital gown, black shorts and torso-covering prosthetic to make her appear pregnant in addition to whatever personal garments she chose," the actor recalled about the scene.

Reflecting further on the birthing scene, Mondschein claimed Lively "never complained" about or expressed "discomfort at any point."

"Nothing unusual or improper occurred," Mondschein said about why Lively had no reason to complain during the scene. "It was entirely professional."

The actor also addressed Lively's allegation that his role as OBGYN Dr. Dunbar could have been filled by any "local actor," responding with a clapback that included him listing his acting qualifications.

"I was, in fact, a local hire (my wife and I are from New York and spend significant time there)," he added.

"As such, I, like any actor accepting that contract, was required to cover my own travel and living expenses in connection with the job," continued the actor, who also noted he was willing to testify in the ongoing trial.

Justin Baldoni Responds To The Actress's Bid To Dismiss His $400 Million Defamation Lawsuit

Shortly after Lively filed a sexual harassment suit against Baldon, the film director hit back with a $400 million defamation lawsuit.

Recently, Lively asked the court to dismiss Baldoni's suit, describing the filing as "vengeful and rambling" and a "profound abuse of the legal process that has no place in federal court."

Firing back at Lively's bid, Baldoni gave several reasons why the dismissal should not be granted, per TMZ.

First, he claimed that Lively spearheaded a campaign to "ruin the reputations and careers" of the Wayfarer parties, the studio that Baldoni co-founded with Steve Sarowitz.

He also stated that "there is sufficient evidence that [Lively] took a responsible part in publishing each of the allegedly defamatory statements by approving or authorizing them prior to publication."

Elsewhere in the response, Baldoni referenced a New York Times publication about Lively's claims.

He said that the actress told the outlet a "false and damning story about an insidious PR sabotage operation deployed as revenge for sexual harassment complaints, with the knowledge and intent that the newspaper would publish that false story."

Lively and Baldoni will now appear in court on March 9, 2026.
