In March, Rolling Stone obtained an audio clip that featured a conversation between Majors and Jabbari.

In the recording, which was from September 2022, the actor seemingly admitted to choking Jabbari and being aggressive with her.

He said in the clip, "I'm ashamed [as] I've ever [been] …," before adding, "I've never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I've never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you."

Jabbari then interjected, "You strangled me and pushed me against the car."

Majors replied, "Yes, all those things are under 'aggressed,' yeah. That's never happened to me."

Afterward, Jabbari asked Majors if she did something that made him become violent toward her. She asked, "Because I said something sarcastically, in your eyes?"

Majors responded, "Well, clearly, it's more than that," to which she added, "Something inside of you."

The actor noted, "Yeah, towards you," after which the recording ended.

The unearthed audio further damaged Majors' public image and came as he was preparing for the release of "Magazine Dreams."

Amid his difficult legal issues and damaged reputation, one major positive for Majors has been his relationship with Meagan Good.

The lovebirds' romance was confirmed in May 2023. They announced their engagement in November 2024 at the Ebony Power Gala in Los Angeles.

Good has stood solidly behind her man during his challenging time despite the public scrutiny coming their way.

During a January appearance on "The Breakfast Club," she shared that faith in God helped her navigate the difficult situation.

Good explained, "Literally, I was talking to God ... and I knew exactly where I was supposed to be. And I've learned along the way that not only will things not always make sense to me, but sometimes they won't make sense to other people."

She added, "That's okay, as long as you are in alignment with God and you're trusting, you know, the path that you're on ... and the more that I've done that, the happier I've been."
