Meghan's As Ever brand launched last week, offering a curated selection of artisanal products, including $28 wildflower honey, $12 herbal teas (hibiscus, peppermint, and lemon ginger), $14 crepe mix and shortbread cookies with $15 flower sprinkles.

However, her fans were left frustrated after rushing to buy the wildflower honey, only to learn their orders wouldn't be fulfilled.

The buzz around the launch led to an unexpected surge in website traffic, and the entire collection sold out within the first hour.

Unfortunately, the site's backend couldn't keep up with the pace, leading to some orders being accepted after stock had already run out.

Affected customers later received an email explaining the situation and were promised a full refund and a free item of their choice as a goodwill gesture.

"The excitement created a volume of traffic on the site that even we couldn't have anticipated (with everything selling out in an hour)," the email read. "The orders were happening so quickly that the backend of the site didn't have a chance to keep up. The Limited Edition Honey that you purchased was, unfortunately, already sold out."

"We are working on replenishing inventory and will gladly send you an item of your choosing to thank you for your understanding," it added.

Meghan also sent a heartfelt note to disappointed customers whose honey orders couldn't be fulfilled.

The email, shared by fans on social media, began: "Dear friend, My goodness, what a whirlwind this week has been! Thank you so much for the support. It really means so much to me."

The Duchess continued: "I was so sorry to hear about what happened with your order, and that due to overselling we are not able to get you the Limited-Edition Honey. Please know the team worked very hard in every department and felt just as sad when we learned what had happened."

To make it right, Meghan promised affected fans they'd be first in line for the next release — and wouldn't need to lift a finger. "No need to order," she assured them. "It will come to you in the mail as a gift from me."

Meghan's personalized gesture quickly gained praise online, with her fans rushing to social media to praise the former working royal for "excellent customer service."

"Omg!! So….I refreshed the #AsEver page so much that I caused a glitch in the matrix (IYKYK). The honey I thought I ordered is sold out. Received this message from #MeghanSussex #AsEverMeghan," one user joked on X, sharing a screenshot of the note.

Another chimed in, "I got the same email as well. I am sad about the honey, but I'm genuinely happy that their launch was such a huge success!"

"I love this!!! What a classy way to handle this scenario! Sorry, you didn't get the honey this time, but wow, how cool to know you'll get a a beautiful product next drop," a third fan gushed.

While Meghan's As Ever products have sold out fast, there were reportedly challenges surrounding its launch.

Netflix insiders reportedly described the rollout as a "logistical nightmare."

"There is so much drama surrounding them once again that internally the team are over it before it's even launched," a source told Daily Mail. "It's been a logistical nightmare and the buying team are having an issue as they can't work out what the demand will be, if any."

Adding to the marketing push, Meghan allegedly enlisted her high-profile friends to "plaster social media" with endorsements of As Ever.

"People will be posting their jars of jam — they've seeded it to lots of influencers to get it out there and to plaster social media with 'good vibes' on launch," the insider said.

The Duchess Celebrates Her Successful Brand Launch On Social Media

Meghan marked the launch of As Ever with an enthusiastic social media post, announcing, "We're live! Come shop the As Ever collection I've poured so much love into. So excited to share this with you."

The former actress noted that each seasonal drop would have "limited quantities."

In a heartfelt newsletter to subscribers, Markle described As Ever as more than just a brand, calling it her "love language."

"If you've been receiving these newsletters, you've been reading my musings about this brand and why it means so much to me - why it's person, why it brings me joy, and how I hope that it becomes both personal and joyful for you too," she wrote.

Encouraging followers to experience the products for themselves, she added, "You're now familiar with the lineup, and as of today, you can order them to enjoy at home. I can't wait to hear what you think!"
