Diddy is now facing a total of five criminal charges in connection to a federal sex trafficking investigation following a new indictment unsealed by prosecutors in New York City on Friday, April 4.

Prosecutors claim Diddy "recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained, advertised, maintained, patronized and solicited [Victim-2], and attempted, aided and abetted, and willfully caused [Victim-2], to engage in commercial sex acts, knowing and in reckless disregard of the fact that Victim-2 was engaging in commercial sex acts as a result of force, fraud, and coercion."

An additional charge for transporting Victim-2 for prostitution was also added. These charges come on top of three earlier ones: sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals to engage in prostitution, first filed in September 2024.

Federal prosecutors allege that Diddy orchestrated "freak offs," events described as "elaborate and produced sex performances," in which he allegedly forced individuals to participate through manipulation and intimidation.

These accusations, tied initially to Victim-1, claim Diddy lured people by pretending to pursue romantic relationships, only to later use "force, threats of force and coercion" to get them to participate in the "freak offs."

Still in custody at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, Diddy awaits his May 5 trial and maintains his innocence, with his lawyers insisting all interactions were "consensual" and part of ongoing relationships.

The indictment also details claims of violence, including an incident where Diddy allegedly "dangled a victim over an apartment balcony," along with accusations of arson and kidnapping.

Following the new federal charges, Diddy's legal team shared a statement with The Blast, clarifying, "These are not new allegations or new accusers."

The team further claimed that "these are the same individuals, former long-term girlfriends, who were involved in consensual relationships. This was their private sex life, defined by consent, not coercion."

Prosecutors announced in a recent court filing that four women are expected to testify against Diddy during his upcoming trial.

One of the accusers, referred to as "Victim-1" and reportedly a former long-term partner of Diddy, intends to testify publicly under her real name.

However, prosecutors are seeking court approval for the other three alleged victims to use pseudonyms to protect their privacy.

According to CNN, in the filing, prosecutors argued, "This case has already received an exceptional amount of media coverage, which will presumably only increase as trial proceeds. Permitting these measures will prevent unnecessary public disclosure of the victims' identities, and the harassment from the media and others."

The prosecutors noted that "publicizing the names of these three victims would cause them significant embarrassment, anxiety, and social stigma" and might negatively impact their personal lives and careers.

Despite their request for anonymity in public proceedings, Diddy and his legal team are already aware of the accusers' identities.

Diddy was recently slammed with allegations from a man who claims he was drugged and sexually assaulted as part of an "organized criminal enterprise."

In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, plaintiff Joseph Manzaro accused the music mogul of orchestrating his exploitation in what he says was a revenge-driven attack back in 2015.

According to USA Today, in the 64-page complaint, Manzaro is suing for human trafficking, racketeering, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The filing alleges that "Diddy orchestrated and facilitated the abuse, coercion, and intimidation of (Manzaro), using his influence, wealth, and power to silence and control (Manzaro) and engaged in acts of violence, sexual coercion, and psychological manipulation, knowingly causing severe harm while ensuring (Manzaro) remained unable to seek justice."

In the explosive lawsuit, Manzaro also claimed he was humiliated in front of several A-list stars, including LeBron James, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Gloria Estefan, and her husband, Emilio Estefan.

In the wake of the filing, Jay-Z's attorney, Alex Spiro, denied that the rapper attended such a party.

"Mr Carter wasn't in Florida at that time to witness this incident - he was engaged in easily findable public activities that prove he was not at this event. This is more nonsense that erodes the trust in our "justice" system," he told TMZ.

A rep for Gloria and Emilio Estefan also told the outlet that "the property in question was never a home WHERE Gloria and Emilio resided." They also denied that any party occurred within the timeline referenced in the suit.

"There were no parties thrown at that property between 2012 and 2019. We have all necessary documentation to support these facts and will provide it to the court," the rep said on behalf of the couple

Similarly, Diddy's legal team slammed the accusation, saying, "No sane person reading this complaint could credit this story."

They also accused the alleged victim of seeking a "payday" and noted that Diddy is fully prepared to prove his innocence in court.
