Fans on social media gushed over the unexpected pairing, dubbing it “hot” and urging the two A-listers to take things to the next level. But according to insiders, there’s no love connection, just mutual admiration and a solid friendship.

PEOPLE also reported that Aniston “likes [Pascal’s] energy and would love to work with him,” even teasing the possibility of a guest appearance by Pascal on her hit series "The Morning Show."
At the Season 2 premiere of "The Last of Us," Pascal addressed the buzz, confirming their dinner was nothing more than a fun night between friends. “Jennifer and I are very good friends,” he told Entertainment Tonight, calling their martini-filled night out “a fun dinner.”

Pedro Pascal Teases A Tearful Joel In ‘The Last of Us’ Season 2: 'Maybe A Little Bit Of Mucus'

Pascal is preparing fans for a more emotional ride in Season 2 of "The Last of Us," and he’s not holding back on the spoilers (or the tissues).
The "Last of Us" star is bringing back his fan-favorite character, Joel, for the HBO series’ highly anticipated second season, which premieres April 13. But according to Pascal, Joel’s tough exterior is starting to crack, and fans should get ready for a more tender, tear-filled version of the apocalypse survivor.
“You get to see like a single tear fall from one of my eyes down my cheek, maybe a little bit of mucus,” Pascal joked, teasing Joel’s emotional evolution. He also added with a laugh, “I think Joel has reading glasses this season. So, there are some serious moves that are coming your way.”
Based on the wildly popular video game franchise, "The Last of Us" made waves with its gripping debut season, earning critical acclaim and a massive fanbase thanks to its blend of high-stakes drama, heartache, and unforgettable performances.
Pascal’s portrayal of the battle-worn, deeply protective Joel was a standout, with viewers emotionally invested in his dynamic with Bella Ramsey’s Ellie. The second season of the hit show premieres on April 13.
