John Lennon's son, Sean Ono Lennon, has weighed in on the disappointing performance of Disney's "Snow White" live-action remake while calling out its lead star, Rachel Zegler.
The singer labeled Rachel Zegler a "disconnected brat," claiming that it was "no surprise" that the movie performed woefully at the Box Office.
Sean Ono Lennon Slams Rachel Zegler Amid 'Snow White' Controversy

Disney's highly anticipated live-action "Snow White" has been at the center of heavy controversy since its lackluster debut at the Box Office.
The film, which reportedly cost north of $250 million to produce, only raked in a disappointing $43 million on opening weekend, nearly half of its projected $85 million target.
John Lennon's son, Sean, has now shared his take on the issue with a bizarre and pointed social media rant directed at Zegler.
In a now-deleted tweet, Lennon implied that the criticism aimed at Zegler had "gone too far" but didn't hesitate to vilify the actress further.
He wrote, "I agree the vilification went too far. But she also acts like a spoiled ungrateful and disconnected brat. So it's no surprise."
John Lennon's Son Also Called Rachel Zegler And Gal Gadot 'Beautiful Women'

Lennon's remark came under a thread he wrote in which he discussed Zegler and her costar Gal Gadot's beauty.
"Both Gal Gadot AND Rachel Zegler are exceptionally beautiful women. Some of y'all are bugging," he noted, per the Daily Mail.
The singer then replied to his tweet: "Some people are saying 'but beauty is on the inside.' That is not the kind of beauty that gets you modeling or acting or even body building jobs. Some people are genetically gifted in the beauty department, and that is a fact of life."
He continued, "There's a lot you can do to help with style and personality but none of that is going to win you a body building competition, for example, if you don't have good genetics. Let's not be babies, physical beauty is not on the inside."
An X user replied to Lennon defending Zegler: "Both actresses are good performers, yet Zegler does not deserve the vilification that Variety and a lot of Disney 'fan boys' are constantly giving her. These kind of people really need to touch grass. I will leave it at that."
This comment prompted Lennon to call Zegler "a spoiled ungrateful and disconnected brat."
The 'Snow White' Star Made Comments About The Original Movie Which Sparked Backlash Early On

Zegler, who rose to prominence with her breakout role in Steven Spielberg's "West Side Story," has faced considerable backlash since her casting as the titular character in "Snow White."
Some critics have argued that her casting deviates too far from the original depiction of the character, with many branding it to be another instance of Hollywood's "woke" agenda.
The 23-year-old actress also slammed its 1937 animated predecessor, dismissing its themes of true love and Prince Charming as "weird" and outdated.
"She's not going to be saved by the prince, and she's not going to be dreaming about true love," Zegler said in an interview, describing the prince as "literally a stalker," per the Daily Mail.
Rachel Zegler's Political Comments Further Courted Controversy Before The Release Of The Film

The live-action remake reportedly faced a number of controversies in the build-up to its release.
In August, Zegler seemingly left the Disney team bewildered during the promotion of the film as she mixed her political views with promotional posts.
At the time, she thanked supporters in an X post for driving the teaser to 120 million views in 24 hours before adding in the thread, "And always remember, free Palestine."
According to Variety, Zegler's comment on Palestine amassed more than 4 times the number of views on the original post, leaving Disney executives scampering to manage the blowback.
A Disney executive raised the studio's concerns with Zegler's team, while the film's producer, Marc Platt, flew to New York to speak directly with her.
"She didn't understand the repercussions of her actions as far as what that meant for the film, for Gal, for anyone," a source said.
Three months later, following the presidential election, Zegler posted "F-ck Donald Trump" and "May Trump supporters … never know peace" on Instagram.
Marc Platt's Son Blamed The Young Actress For The Film's Box Office Struggle

Meanwhile, Platt's son Jonah has also criticized Zegler, accusing her of hurting the film with her social media posts as he defended his father from online criticisms.
A commenter called Jonah's father "creepy as hell" and said the producer's efforts to control Zegler's social media posts were "uncalled for."
In response, Jonah wrote, "You really want to do this? Yeah, my dad, the producer of an enormous piece of Disney IP with hundreds of millions of dollars on the line, had to leave his family to fly across the country to reprimand his 20 year old employee for dragging her personal politics into the middle of promoting the movie for which she signed a multi-million dollar contract to get paid and do publicity for."
Jonah continued, "This is called adult responsibility and accountability. And her actions clearly hurt the film's box office. Free speech does not mean you're allowed to say whatever you want in your private employment without repercussions. Tens of thousands of people worked on that film and she hijacked the conversation for her own immature desires at the risk of all the colleagues and, crew and blue collar workers who depend on that movie to be successful. Narcissism is not something to be coddled or encouraged."
