Before she became a go-to influencer, podcast host, and proud pet parent championing clean products with Mrs. Meyer’s, Becca Tilley was best known to fans as one of the standout personalities on "The Bachelor."
Now, years removed from receiving roses and navigating reality TV heartbreak, Becca Tilley is reflecting on how the franchise helped shape her in more ways than she ever expected.
Becca Tilley Reflects On 'The Bachelor' Journey

“I think that it shaped me in so many ways because I look back on that time and think of who I was when I went on the show, and I was I was very secure, but also very closed off,” Becca told The Blast. “And in the weirdest way, I felt like it opened me up to being able to express my feelings and emotions, even though it was through the lens of a television show.”
The experience, she explained, created a unique environment for growth.
“You're experiencing these things, but you're kind of in a bubble. You don't have your phone, you don't have your friends," she explained. "So you almost have to open yourself up to be in the experience. And so I think one of that was one of the main things I took away from doing the show.”

That emotional growth didn’t stop her from returning for round two. “And obviously I did it two seasons in a row because I love a challenge,” she joked. “Had to go back and get dumped again on TV.”
One of the most unexpected and lasting gifts from the show? Her friendship with JoJo Fletcher.
“It's so funny because when I went on the show the second time on Ben [Higgins]'s season, I really thought, 'This is my guy,'" Becca said. “I got asked back because all the stars aligned."
And while she has nothing but love for Ben, she feels the real reason to go on the show was to meet JoJo.
“I really feel like I was supposed to go on that show to meet JoJo," she told The Blast. "Because she has been such a huge part of my life, and we have so much in common. And it felt like she was someone that I knew pre-'Bachelor,'" which only helped their friendship blossom.

Despite the public heartbreak, Tilley remains nothing but grateful for the opportunity.
“I truly think I wouldn't have had any of these opportunities had I not gone on the show,” she said of her recent partnerships, including with Mrs. Meyer's for their new pet care line. “I could have never prepared for what my life would look like, and I'm forever grateful.”
She added, “So it impacted me on a personal level, but it also changed my life in a way that I could have never prepared for."
Becca Tilley On Life With Hayley Kiyoko And Their Pup Phoebe

Today, Becca Tilley is happily in a relationship with singer and actress Hayley Kiyoko.
The two first crossed paths in 2018 at the release party for Kiyoko’s debut album "Expectations." After keeping their romance private for nearly four years, they confirmed their relationship publicly at the release party for Kiyoko’s single “For The Girls,” where Tilley also made an appearance in the music video.
Now living together, the couple proudly care for their beloved pet Phoebe, ensuring she receives top-tier pet care with help from Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day.
“I think that Mrs. Meyer’s coming out with a pet product line is a need that people have wanted," she explained. "And so it’s just filling a space where people have needed those products for a long time.”

The new collection features a 3-in-1 dog shampoo, a deodorizing spritz suitable for both dogs and cats, and a cat-specific deodorizing formula, each thoughtfully designed to be gentle, effective, and safe for even the most sensitive pets.
“I’m obsessed with Phoebe smelling good,” Tilley added. “So I have to be really careful what I put on her because her skin and allergies will freak out. So the deodorizing spritz is perfect because I can’t bathe her every time she comes in from going outside. This is like a good refresher in between those baths, and it doesn’t irritate her at all.”
As more consumers embrace pets as true members of the family, Tilley believes the demand for safe, intentional pet products will only continue to grow.
