As consumer demand for pet care products continues to rise, up 16% since 2022, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day is officially stepping into the pet space with a brand-new product line designed with both cleanliness and compassion in mind.

To help launch the collection, the beloved home cleaning brand has teamed up with content creator, "The Bachelor" alum, and proud pet parent Becca Tilley, along with her dog Phoebe.

Tilley spoke exclusively with The Blast about why this partnership felt like a perfect match.

“My girlfriend and I have used Mrs. Meyer's products for as long as we've been together,” she shared. “And so when they came up with the pet line, I was like, this is perfect because I have been in the process of trying to use products that are safe and clean for my dog Phoebe because she has a lot of sensitivities.”

The new line includes a 3-in-1 dog shampoo, a deodorizing spritz for both dogs and cats, and a cat-specific deodorizing formula, each crafted to be gentle, effective, and safe for sensitive pets.

“I'm obsessed with Phoebe smelling good,” Tilley added. “So I have to be really careful what I put on her because her skin and allergies will freak out. So the deodorizing spritz is perfect because I can't bathe her every time she comes in from going outside. This is like a good refresher in between those baths, and it doesn't irritate her at all.”

The products are certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny and vet-tested, two important details that matter to Tilley and other mindful pet owners. Tilley also touched on the emotional side of pet care, reminding fellow pet parents of the unconditional love their furry companions offer, even when life gets messy.

“All of our dogs and pets have accidents and oops, sometimes,” she said. “I always look at Phoebe and I'm like, wow, she just loves us so unconditionally. I look around at the chaos in our home sometimes and there's messes everywhere. My life's a mess. And I know she's probably secretly judging me, but she only shows love.”

The launch of Mrs. Meyer’s pet care line addresses what Tilley believes has been a longstanding need.

“I think that Mrs. Meyer’s coming out with a pet product line is a need that people have wanted," she explained. "And so it’s just filling a space where people have needed those products for a long time.”

But Mrs. Meyer’s isn’t just stopping at better grooming solutions because they’re also celebrating the occasional mess that comes with pet parenthood.

Enter Oopsurance, a new interactive initiative created to support pet owners in the most authentic way.

“So Mrs. Meyers did a fun little initiative where people can go to [Oopsurance] and they can submit a claim for their pet,” Tilley explained. “Phoebe has accidents sometimes, so I could submit a claim with her photo and they can get an insurance coverage."

But that's not all because the first 1,000 people to sign up can get a free product from Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day pet line.

Why Mrs. Meyer’s New Line Just Makes Sense

Certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny and vet-tested, the entire collection is built around safety, simplicity, and a touch of everyday joy.

Tilley says that kind of grace is something she’s learned to mirror from her dog. She recalled a moment while tidying her house when the tables turned. “I was cleaning up the other day looking around at the little piles of messes all over the house. And I was like, 'Man, if Phoebe was hard on me about my messiness, this would be so sad.' So how could I ever be hard on her for having an accident or having a little mess here and there when she never judges me?”

Through it all, Phoebe remains a source of perspective and peace. “So I feel like she teaches me just like patience and love and all the things every day.”

And as more consumers treat pets like members of the family, Tilley believes the trend toward safe, intentional pet products is only getting stronger.

“I don't want to say it's like becoming a parent because I haven't had that experience,” she shared, “but when you're taking care of something, specifically a dog, they can't speak to you, they can't communicate to you. So it's up to you to know that the products that you're using in your home and that you're putting on them are products that are safe for them.”

As Becca put it best, “I love for my house to smell good and being able to like, finally use products that I can spray and don't irritate her is such a relief for me.”

With a focus on thoughtful ingredients, pet-friendly formulations, and everyday convenience, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day is now helping pet owners show their love in the cleanest way possible, one spritz, shampoo, or snuggle at a time.
