Las Vegas Is The Place To Be For Poolside Fun

While it's not officially summer yet, the temperatures in Las Vegas say otherwise. (It hit 90+ degrees on March 26!)

March begins the perfect time to enjoy some fun in the sun at the pool, thus the unofficial start to pool season has arrived!

There are many different places to enjoy some pool time and sunshine in Sin City. We've compiled a short list of some area pools and dayclubs that offer a full day of poolside excitement.

DAYLIGHT Beach Club: 'The Ultimate Las Vegas Pool Club Destination'

DAYLIGHT Beach Club, located just off the Strip adjacent to both the Four Seasons and Mandalay Bay Beach, returns for the 2025 pool season on Thursday, April 24.

The ultimate summer hotspot, DAYLIGHT offers an exciting experience all season long. Whether you’re relaxing in a cabana, daybed, or enjoying general admission, you’ll groove to an exclusive lineup of upbeat music to add to the Vegas pool vibes.

Let's not forget about the return of "LIT Sundays" to add to the excitement. And then there's the addition of "Soaked Saturdays," a next-level pool party that features DJ performances, water guns, spray tunnels, and interactive champagne spray packages.

DAYLIGHT will be open on Thursdays and Sundays from 12 to 6 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Swim & Social At The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower

Over on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, Swim & Social at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower, opens in early April.

Pool lovers and sun worshippers can soak up the newly remodeled resort-style pool's vibes with the iconic Las Vegas Strip as the backdrop. Located on the eighth floor, there are also fun yard games, a poolside café, and much more to enjoy.

Swim & Social Café, a full-service restaurant and bar, offers the perfect spot to relax for breakfast and lunch. They'll be serving a variety of small plates, salads, and sandwiches, as well as frozen cocktails, signature drinks, wine, beer, seltzer, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Bel-Aire Backyard At Durango Casino & Resort In Southwest Las Vegas

Located off the Strip in Southwest Las Vegas, Bel-Aire Backyard at Durango Casino & Resort is currently open for the 2025 season. With more than 65,000 square feet of lush greenery and towering palm trees, the poolside oasis is home to a 7,200 square foot pool with a central fountain and Baja ledge, as well as two poolside bars.

In addition to soaking in some sun or cooling off in the massive pool, there will be pickleball tournaments every Saturday and Sunday, and Aloha Fridays on select Fridays throughout the season, when the pool will transform into a tropical luau with live music, Polynesian dancing and a pop-up from popular Ai Pono Cafe.

In May, Bel-Aire Backyard will debut the Bel-Aire Backyard Poolside Concert Series, presented by AEG Presents: Las Vegas. The series will bring musical acts to the venue's expansive lawn for evening concerts under the stars.

Scheduled acts: The Fray on Friday, May 16, Thievery Corportation on Sunday, May 25, Michael Franti & Spearhead on August 22, and The Struts on Friday, September 12.

Bel-Aire Backyard offers private cabanas, daybeds, and chaise lounges to choose from when planning out your poolside adventure. There is also a full-service restaurant, Backyard Grill, which serves up food and cocktails.

Dive Into Pool Season At OYO Hotel & Casino

Also located off the Strip is OYO Hotel & Casino, who begins their official pool season on Friday, March 21. The newly remodeled outdoor space offers the ultimate backyard party experience for locals and visitors alike.

Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., guests can soak in two sparkling pools, play lawn games, enjoy refreshing cocktails, and dance to music spun by a live DJ.

Admission is complimentary for hotel guests, locals, and Gold, Platinum, and Black Diamond OYO Rewards members. Out of state visitors can enjoy fun in the sun for $15. Elevate your summer-time pool experience with a VIP daybed or cabana rental.

To help keep the party vibes going strong, OYO has partnered with Beatbox Beverages to offer eco-friendly, ready-to-drink cocktails in five flavors, including Avril Lavigne's specialty flavor, pink lemonade. Delicious bites to eat will also be available from Steak 'n Shake and Hooters on property and delivered poolside.
