Deborra-Lee Furness is seeking peace and clarity in the aftermath of her highly publicized split from Hugh Jackman, and she’s doing it thousands of miles away.

The Australian actress has embarked on a soul-searching trip to Bhutan as part of her healing process following Jackman’s rumored affair with his "Music Man" co-star Sutton Foster.

According to a source who spoke with Us Weekly, “She’s currently rebuilding her life and taking a vacation to Bhutan to start fresh and get away from the pain. She’s relied on a strong support system of female friends. She also spends time with other women who’ve been through similar situations who offer her unwavering support.”

Furness and Jackman announced their separation in September 2023 after 27 years of marriage.

In a joint statement at the time, the former couple said, “We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”

The pair, who share two adopted children, emphasized their continued dedication to family, stating, “Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.”

While early reports claimed the separation had no third-party involvement, that narrative shifted when rumors began to swirl that Jackman had formed a romantic relationship with Foster during their time on Broadway.

Sources later told Page Six the two fell in love during their run in "The Music Man" and are now fully committed to one another. “They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together,” an insider claimed.
