Inside Savannah Chrisley's Mom's Attempt At Resentencing

Last year, The Blast shared that Julie's hopes to prevent physically appearing in court for her resentencing hearing got squashed. A federal judge denied the request from Julie, who was held at FMC Lexington, to participate in her upcoming court hearing remotely.
Her attorney, Alex Little, argued that the journey from Kentucky to Georgia could impose "undue physical hardship" on the 51-year-old. Alex explained that the process would either require a transfer through Oklahoma City or a long van ride with Julie in shackles.
Despite the legal team's belief that a virtual appearance would facilitate better coordination with prison officials, the court mandated that Julie attend the hearing in person.
