Rapper Cardi B may be known for her over-the-top glam, luxury fashion, and hilarious honesty, but even the rap queen wasn’t prepared for what her 6-year-old daughter, Kulture, did to one of her prized possessions: a $60,000 Hermès Kelly bag.
Cardi B shares Kulture, a daughter born in September 2024 (whose name has not yet been revealed), and a son, Wave Set, 3, with estranged husband Offset.
Cardi B Goes Off After Spotting Kulture’s Hand-Drawn Heart On Her $60K Designer Purse

In a now-expired Instagram Stories shared Sunday, the 32-year-old rapper let fans in on the moment she discovered her yellow croc-embossed designer purse had been customized, courtesy of a tiny, hand-drawn black heart scribbled on the front by her daughter.
“I literally spent $60,000 on this purse,” Cardi said from behind the camera, per Page Six, zooming in on the small doodle in disbelief.
“Look what my daughter did to my purse. Look what my daughter did to my purse. Look what my daughter did to my f-cking purse. Look,” she repeated, growing more exasperated with each line.
The clip ended with a dramatic sigh of frustration, and the internet has not stopped talking about it since.
Cardi B’s $60K Hermès Bag Doodle Sparks Debate

Cardi wasn’t exaggerating. A similar Hermès Kelly style currently retails for over $61,000 on resale site 1stDibs. But some fans were quick to point out that the new design might make it even more valuable, at least sentimentally.
“She loves you [red heart emoji] That’s a keepsake,” one commenter wrote on a reposted version of the video on YouTube. Another chimed in, “It’s better now. Something that your daughter drew is more valuable than that purse.”
While some fans gave sweet sentimental takes, others were more focused on the practical side of things, suggesting ways to remove the ink. “Take it in for spa service, sure it will be resolved,” one person advised. Another added, “Get a hot rag with some soap and water and lightly rub it off.”
Of course, this isn’t Kulture’s first run-in with luxury fashion. The mini fashionista already owns an impressive Hermès collection of her own, including a rainbow-bedazzled Birkin worth nearly $50,000. Maybe it’s time for a bag swap?
Cardi B’s $60K Hermès Bag Now Comes With A Story

While she hasn’t confirmed whether Hermès will be performing a designer “rescue mission” on the bag, fans are wondering if the now-iconic heart could actually increase the resale value.
Either way, one thing’s for sure... this purse now tells a story, and as any parent (or fashion lover) can tell you, the most priceless accessories are sometimes the ones that come with a little chaos and a whole lot of heart.
Cardi B And Offset Nearing Settlement In $85K Property Damage Lawsuit Over Beverly Hills Mansion

Cardi B and Offset are one step closer to putting a major legal headache behind them. The estranged couple has reportedly reached a tentative settlement with the landlord who sued them for property damage and unpaid rent related to a Los Angeles mansion they once called home.
The lawsuit, filed in December 2023 by landlord SD Squared, accused Cardi, Offset, and his company Sallie Smith LLC of breach of contract and negligence following their 20-month stay in a sprawling 8,535-square-foot Beverly Hills estate.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Offset and the landlord reached a settlement "in principle" during mediation on November 7, 2024. However, both sides still need to finalize and sign off on the agreement before it's considered official.
The complaint alleged that the rappers moved into the home in February 2022 but vacated without notice in October 2023, leaving behind unpaid rent and utility bills, as well as an estimated $85,000 in damages to the luxury property.
Offset Hits Back In Mansion Lawsuit, Claiming Rent Hike And Lease Signed Under Duress

The landlord’s attorney claimed the pair ignored multiple requests to resolve the matter privately, prompting them to file suit.
Offset and his company have denied all allegations, arguing that parts of the lease agreement were unconscionable and allegedly signed under duress and fraud. In a countersuit, they claimed they initially agreed to pay $35,000 per month in rent for the luxury mansion, but later, the landlord allegedly attempted to hike the rate to $45,000 per month.
