On Saturday, March 22, Bieber opened up about his struggles with anger in an Instagram post, writing, "I've got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh."

Accompanying his words were three photos: a close-up selfie in a hoodie, a childhood throwback, and what appears to be his baby son, Jack Blues, lying on a blanket while watching a movie on a projector.

In a follow-up post, the singer stated, "I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic. Then I remember we're all being made to think we're not enough, but I still hate when I change myself to please people."

He also revisited a 2019 Instagram caption from his wife, Hailey Bieber, about embracing vulnerability, responding with, "Still relevant, boo."

Lately, Bieber's social media presence has been filled with posts about having "nothing to prove," feeling "unworthy," and the importance of letting "hate go by first acknowledging it's there."

On March 16, Justin took to his Instagram Stories to share that he is ready to "let hate go."

The pop star noted, "I WAS ALWAYS TOLD WHEN I WAS A KID NOT TO HATE … BUT IT MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WASNT ALLOWED TO HAVE IT AND SO I DIDN'T TELL ANYONE IVE HAD IT."

The "Peaches" singer admitted that suppressing those feelings left him feeling like he was "DROWNING, FEELING UNSAFE TO ACKNOWLEDGE IT," and emphasized the importance of facing emotions head-on: "I THINK WE CAN ONLY LET HATE GO BY FIRST ACKNOWLEDGING IT'S THERE."

Reflecting on past pain, he added, "HOW COULDN'T WE FEEL HATE FROM ALL OF THE HURT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED?" a message he fittingly paired with SZA's "I Hate U."

The next day, he followed it up with a much shorter message: "If they aren't talking sh-t U must not be goin crazy enough."
