43-year-old actress Eliza Coupe, best known for her role as Denise "Jo" Mahoney on "Scrubs," made a dazzling appearance at the Hollywood premiere of Netflix's upcoming mystery drama, "The Residence."
Eliza Coupe, who starred in the final two seasons of the beloved medical sitcom, turned heads with a striking new look nearly 15 years after the show went off the air.
Eliza Coupe Stuns In Glamorous Gold At 'The Residence' Premiere

Coupe sparkled in a low-cut metallic gold dress at the star-studded event held at The Egyptian Theater on Wednesday night.
She paired the shimmering gown with black suede knee-high booties and draped a black mink coat down her arms, allowing her glamorous outfit to take center stage. Her signature blonde locks were styled down with a soft fringe, while a sultry smokey eye added drama to her makeup look.
Fans were quick to notice how different Coupe looked from her "Scrubs" days. The actress played the sharp-witted and brutally honest intern-turned-resident at Sacred Heart Hospital in seasons eight and nine, known for her no-nonsense attitude and dry humor.

While her character often struggled with bedside manner, she became a fan favorite for her sarcastic banter and eventual romance with medical student Drew Suffin.
"I remember one time Sarah Chalke and I were doing a scene where we were doing something and Bill Lawrence came in and was like, 'Yeah, we need another scene in between this one and that one,' it was not going to cut together right," she recalled in 2022 when looking back at her experience on the show. "So he just takes our sides and writes our scene on the side and says, 'Let’s shoot this in twenty minutes.' I was like, 'Let’s go! Alright!'
She added, "That’s where I learned that anything can happen when you’re doing comedy; you better learn it on the fly and then you just play and you better know it. That was a pretty cool moment. I love those guys."
Eliza Coupe Takes On A New Challenge In Netflix’s 'The Residence'

After "Scrubs," Coupe cemented her sitcom success with a starring role in "Happy Endings," where she played the fiercely competitive and type-A Jane Kerkovich-Williams. The ABC comedy, which aired from 2011 to 2013, developed a cult following, thanks in part to Coupe’s impeccable comedic timing and the show’s whip-smart dialogue.
Now, Coupe is stepping into the world of mystery drama with her latest role in "The Residence," created by Paul William Davies. In the series, she portrays Margery Bay Bix, a character caught up in the complex world of the White House staff residence and their entangled relationships with the First Family.
The show boasts a star-studded cast led by "Orange Is the New Black" alum Uzo Aduba, alongside Barrett Foa, Edwina Findley, Bret Tucker, and more.
'The Residence' Brings A Hilarious, Twisted Murder Mystery To Netflix

The show takes audiences inside the world of the White House like never before.
Created by Paul William Davies and inspired by Kate Andersen Brower’s book "The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House," the eight-episode series blends political drama with a darkly comedic murder mystery.
Set during a high-profile Australian State Dinner, the series kicks off with the White House staff scrambling to execute a flawless evening. President Perry Morgan (Paul Fitzgerald) is eager to impress Australian dignitaries with an A-list spectacle featuring none other than Hugh Jackman and Kylie Minogue (who makes a cameo as herself).
However, the meticulously planned evening takes a shocking turn when a blood-curdling scream echoes across the White House’s third floor.
Netflix’s 'The Residence' Honors Andre Braugher With Emotional Tribute And Final Title Card

"The Residence" honors the late Andre Braugher with a heartfelt tribute, ensuring that his impact on the series and his legacy in Hollywood are not forgotten.
Braugher, best known for his roles in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Homicide: Life on the Street," was originally cast as Chief Usher AB Wynter. However, the beloved actor tragically passed away at age 61 from lung cancer during the production process. "Breaking Bad" star Giancarlo Esposito ultimately took over his role, but the show’s creators made sure to recognize Braugher’s contribution in a meaningful way.
The final episode of "The Residence" closes with an emotional title card reading, "In Memory of Andre Braugher." While memorial tributes are often placed in the first episode of a series, creator Paul William Davies revealed that he intentionally chose to place it at the very end.
“There might have been a natural inclination to do that after the first episode,” Davies told Deadline. “But for me, it was important to do that at the end of the whole series, to say, you were part of all this, and we have not forgotten you.”
