Jeezy Requested A Five-Figure Settlement From Jeannie Mai

Jeezy has made serious accusations against his ex-wife, Jeannie, amidst their ongoing divorce proceedings. He claims she has acted in bad faith, referring to her actions as "nefarious."
The South Carolina native now seeks $20,000 from her to cover the legal fees he claims he incurred due to her "frivolous" accusations. He filed the motion on March 14 after Jeannie accused him of being in contempt of their divorce agreement.
Jeezy denied the contempt allegations and disputed Jeannie's lease agreements regarding rent reimbursements, claiming they were unverifiable. He attempted to obtain information from her bank through a subpoena, which she contested.
Additionally, he accused her of leaking her contempt petition to the media to publicly undermine and disgrace him, a tactic he claims she has employed throughout their divorce.
According to In Touch, Jeezy's lawyer emphasized that while both parties are public figures, he has consistently sought to resolve their issues amicably and privately, prioritizing the well-being of their minor child.
"However, since the filing of this action, [Jeezy] has been forced to defend himself against frivolous claims and the intentional public attempt to dismantle [Jeezy's] name, brand and reputation continued throughout this case," his attorney stated.
The Rapper Claimed His Estranged Wife Has Set Out To Defame Him

Jeezy's attorney claimed Jeannie is torn between two conflicting desires regarding Jeezy. On one hand, she is determined to extract every cent of financial support from him.
On the other hand, the attorney noted that she aims to undermine the rapper's income potential by eroding the public goodwill he has cultivated over the years, even before their relationship began.
This inner conflict ultimately influences her complex motivations and goals in their current situation. Jeezy also accused Jeannie of filing the contempt petition "in a concerted effort to negatively inflame the public's opinion" of him.
Additionally, Jeezy, denied allegations that he has failed to make necessary payments, establish an account for their daughter, or intentionally withheld the titles to certain cars.
He further revealed that one vehicle, a Bronco, was damaged when a tree fell on it, leading to it being classified as a total loss, and he is currently in discussions with the insurance company regarding this incident.
Jeezy contends that the evidence supports his claim that he is not in willful contempt of court. Consequently, he believes that Jeannie should reimburse him the amount of $19,839.81, which he owes his lawyers for their work on the contempt case.

The former E! star encountered a dispute with her estranged husband, Jeezy, over access to his property to retrieve her belongings.
As shared by The Blast, On December 9, 2024, she arrived at Jeezy's mansion with movers but was denied entry by his house manager, who was following Jeezy's orders. The TV personality's legal team shared:
"In fact, the house manager called [Jeezy], who again confirmed that [Jeannie] and her movers were not to access her items, disregarding the court order entirely."
Jeannie's legal team emphasized that she did not intend to invade Jeezy's privacy or use recording devices; her sole aim was to ensure her personal items were collected.
Frustrated by the refusal, she involved the Atlanta Police Department to document the situation, as it appeared to be a violation of a court order. Her lawyers clarified that the police were not called to escalate the situation but to provide an official report of her denial of access.
The 47-Year-Old Harbored Fears Over His Estranged Wife's Presence On His Property

Following the incident at his home, Jeezy expressed concerns about his ex-wife gaining access to the building. Despite the court allowing her to collect her belongings within 21 days, Jeezy immediately sought to modify this order.
He cited a lack of trust in the talk show host, fearing she might breach conditions and create further issues for his career, similar to past incidents.
His lawyer emphasized Jeezy's discomfort with having Jeannie in his home, suggesting that her previous actions had threatened his professional reputation.
The rapper's attorney insisted that the TV host's current emotional state amid the divorce led her to seek revenge, which could disrupt Jeezy's peace and compromise his privacy if she were allowed access to his home.
Jeezy Dropped His Old Management Amid His Intense Divorce From Jeannie Mai

The rapper also got involved in a legal dispute with his former representatives, from whom he lost trust. He accused his old team of profiting from his success while failing to inform him about his financial situation.
In late 2024, as reported by The Blast, Jeezy expressed growing frustration over his financial management team, led by Solomon Fornie and Eddie Bridgeman, after allegedly being denied access to essential financial records.
Their partnership, which began over a decade ago, formally evolved into Agency 99, created to manage Jeezy's earnings. As their collaboration progressed, Bridgeman's firm, The SaiSai Group, was also brought on board to oversee financial matters.
However, Jeezy recently uncovered that Bridgeman was not a licensed CPA, raising further concerns about their operations. Jeezy then filed a lawsuit to compel his former team to provide important documents, as he is strugglingto properly dissolve their venture.
He argued that he could not legally comply with Georgia's requirements for reinstating or closing Agency 99 without this documentation.
Jeezy and Jeannie Mai cannot seem to escape this endless loop of legal cases.
