Lively followed in her husband's path by asking a judge to remove her from Baldoni's lawsuit.

On Thursday, the actress filed a motion to dismiss Baldoni's lawsuit. Court documents obtained by TMZ revealed that she claimed he was violating the law by filing a lawsuit against her because he did it for revenge.

According to Lively, Baldoni only filed his defamation lawsuit against her, her husband, and her publicist after she sued him for allegedly sexually harassing her during the making of the movie "It Ends With Us."

She also said he launched a smear campaign against her after she reported his alleged sexual harassment in the studio.

Lively explained that California law bars Baldoni from suing her based on her sexual harassment allegations against him. Hence, her reason for wanting the judge to dismiss the film director's suit against her.

According to Lively's new court documents, her lawyers said Baldoni and his company, Wayfarer Studios, have "created more liability for themselves by their malicious efforts to sue Ms. Lively 'into oblivion.'"

Lively also requested that Baldoni pay her legal fees and massive damages for filing the lawsuit against her.

She also addressed Baldoni's team's bullying narrative, stating that he is the one bullying her with his lawsuit "designed to further [Baldoni's] sinister campaign to 'bury' and 'destroy' Ms. Lively for speaking out about sexual harassment and retaliation."

Lively's lawsuit comes a few days after her husband, Reynolds, asked a judge to toss out Baldoni's lawsuit against him, arguing that his comments about the director are protected under the First Amendment.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Reynolds believes Baldoni's lawsuit stems from "thin-skinned outrage over a movie character."

The actor referred to a "Deadpool & Wolverine" character, Nicepool, whom Baldoni claims was modeled after him, down to the character's man-bun hairstyle.

Reynolds also doubled down on his claim that Baldoni sexually harassed his wife, Blake Lively.

His legal filing stated, "Mr. Reynolds has a First Amendment right to hold Mr. Baldoni—or any man who Mr. Reynolds believes sexually harassed his wife—in 'deep disdain.'"

The filing further argued that Reynolds' remarks should be dismissed as they are "expressions of opinion that deserve 'absolute protection' by law."

Baldoni first sued Reynolds in January, accusing him of defamation for allegedly calling him a "sexual predator" in an attempt to have his agency, WME, sever ties with him.

However, Reynolds' legal team has pushed back, insisting that the actor's statement was a personal belief rather than a defamatory claim.

"But here is the problem, that is not defamation unless they can show that Mr. Reynolds did not believe that statement to be true," his lawyers told Page Six.

They added, "The allegations in the complaint suggest that Mr. Reynolds genuinely believes Mr. Baldoni is a predator."

They further argued that Baldoni himself has spoken about his past of "mistreating women and pushing the boundaries of consent."

Reynolds' legal team also pointed out that Baldoni had previously called the actor and his wife "bullies," suggesting that he should find their dismissal request "comforting."
