Taylor Swift And Chariah Gordon’s Chiefs WAG Bond Faces A Major Shake-Up

The Kansas City Chiefs WAG crew is saying goodbye to one of its own as Chariah Gordon, fiancée of wide receiver Mecole Hardman, shared an emotional farewell on social media after news broke that Hardman had been traded to the Green Bay Packers.

On Tuesday, Gordon took to her Instagram Stories to post a collage of photos reflecting on her time in Kansas City, including several heartfelt moments with Taylor Swift.

Among the images Gordon shared were three photos featuring Swift, underscoring the close bond the two have built since the pop icon entered the Chiefs WAG circle.

“I’m really going to miss y’all,” she captioned the upload, adding crying and broken heart emojis to highlight her bittersweet goodbye.

One particularly touching snap captured a warm embrace between Swift and Gordon, while another showed Swift whispering something to her WAG bestie in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium.

Swift’s third appearance in the collage was a group shot from October 2024, taken after the Chiefs’ win against the New Orleans Saints, a moment that now serves as one of Gordon’s final Chiefs memories.

News broke Tuesday that Hardman, who has been with the Chiefs since 2019, is heading to Green Bay.

Hardman, who received interest from several teams, including the Chicago Bears, ultimately chose Green Bay, where he could also compete for returner duties. Over his career, he has averaged 9.2 yards on 89 punt returns and 23.8 yards on 45 kickoff returns, making him a potential asset on special teams.

Hardman spent the first four seasons of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs before briefly departing for the New York Jets in free agency last year. However, the Chiefs brought him back midseason via trade, and while he had a limited role in the 2023 regular season—playing just six games with two starts and recording 14 receptions for 118 yards—he made a historic impact in the postseason.

Hardman caught the game-winning touchdown in overtime of Super Bowl LVIII, sealing a 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers and delivering another championship to Kansas City.

Swift, who has been dating Kelce since mid-2023, has been a regular fixture at Chiefs games and has often appeared on Gordon’s social media.

In November 2024, the 14-time Grammy winner even posed for a photo with Gordon and Hardman’s baby girl, solidifying their off-the-field friendship.

That same month, Gordon opened up to Glamour about her close relationship with Swift, revealing they first met at Kelce’s house.

“Since then we’ve been super cool. I call her my sis. That’s my sis,” Gordon gushed, describing Swift as “super, super sweet.”

"It got debates, it got outfits... it got, ‘Do we want to go to the gym? Do you guys want to go to the Bible study?’ It has, ‘Hey, who wants to go eat today?’”

The group also shares fashion advice, with Gordon revealing that she often sends outfit options for feedback. “I would pick my own outfits and send it in a group chat like, 'Hey, do y'all like this? Do you like that?' Everybody just gives their opinion on what to switch out or what to put in."

While football does come up, it’s more about supporting their partners and celebrating their wins.

"When somebody's guy does good or gets hurt or anything, we're checking on each other," Gordon explained. “We're saying things like, 'Oh, your man just made a touchdown. Yay!' We just in there supporting each other all the way around."

Above all, Gordon emphasized that the WAGs group chat is a safe and comfortable space where they can bond, vent, and truly be themselves.

"Whatever you need to do in that group chat is safe," she assured, adding that it helps them get to know each other and build friendships beyond football.

Hopefully, the Chiefs WAGs will stay close even with Gordon and Hardman moving to Green Bay.
