Meghan Markle's Netflix series "With Love, Meghan" has sparked debate, particularly over a viral pretzel repackaging scene.
Popular late-night host Jimmy Fallon even joined in on the debate by joking about the pretzel scene on his show.
This comes after Meghan Markle announced her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, launching on April 8, featuring conversations with women entrepreneurs.
Jimmy Fallon Roasts Meghan Markle Over Pretzel Bag Repackaging

During a "Trivia Night" segment on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Monday, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, became the subject of a joke.
Steve Higgins, Fallon's longtime sidekick, asked the show's host, "What is the number one question that mystifies scientists?"
Fallon took a guess: "Is there life on another planet?" Higgins then shook his head and revealed his joke.
"Oh, no," he said, per the New York Post. "Why does Meghan Markle make her own pretzel bags? They don't know why."
Laughter erupted from the audience as Fallon chuckled, adding, "That's interesting. She takes it from one bag and puts it in another bag, and that confuses people."
I’m so glad Meghan Markle has a new show on Netflix where I can watch her take pretzels out of a labeled bag and put them into a new bag…then label it. The people’s Martha Stewart! #WithLoveMeghan #WithLoveMeghanOnNetflix pic.twitter.com/snxhspZt7o

The joke referenced a moment from "With Love, Meghan," where the royal repackages store-bought Trader Joe's Peanut Butter Pretzel Nuggets into a custom-labeled bag for her friend and makeup artist, Daniel Martin.
"This, we're just going to put into a different bag," Meghan says in the scene, explaining her thought process.
She adds, "I know that Daniel loves peanut butter, but I'm going to label this anyway. You always want to be conscious if someone has a nut allergy."
After finishing her personalized snack bag, she comments, "I'm packing this all up so I can take it home and prep the guest room."
The Duchess's Pretzel Packaging Came Under Scrutiny

Meghan has since found herself at the center of online debate and criticism after the March 4 debut of "With Love, Meghan" on Netflix, with the repackaging pretzel moment raising eyebrows.
One X user mocked the scene, joking, "I'm so glad Meghan Markle has a new show on Netflix where I can watch her take pretzels out of a labeled bag and put them into a new bag…then label it. The people's Martha Stewart!"
Another person sarcastically said, "Markle is saving the planet one plastic bag at a time. So much single-use plastic when there is no need."
A third X user noted, "Hope those bags are biodegradable. After all, she and her husband were always lecturing us on caring for the planet."
Netizens Defended Meghan Markle's Pretzel Repackaging

Despite the backlash, some came to Meghan's defense, slamming trolls for "nitpicking" the show.
"She is making a basket for her friend with his favorite things in it… You all are so quick to judge," one supporter noted.
Another defended her efforts, writing, "The nitpicking shows how full of unreasonable hate you are. She bagged up some pretzels to present to her guest nicely, with the popcorn, bath salts, bath bags, and flower arrangements she DID make."
Some even praised the presentation, with one viewer stating, "She made them look cozy, though."
Gwyneth Paltrow Voices Support For Meghan Markle

"With Love, Meghan" offers a glimpse into the Duchess's approach to hosting at home in Montecito, California.
Despite drawing fewer viewers than "Harry & Meghan" and facing criticism, Netflix has renewed the series for a second season.
Additionally, Meghan's entry into the lifestyle space with her brand As Ever has drawn the attention of fellow celebrities, including Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow.
Paltrow told Vanity Fair that although she hasn't watched the Netflix series "With Love, Meghan," she isn't concerned about competition with her lifestyle brand, Goop.
Instead, she voiced support for the "Suits" alum, stating, "When there's noise about certain women in the culture, I do have, always, a strong instinct to stand up for them."
The Oscar winner emphasized a collaborative approach: "I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes. I think there's always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try."
The Duchess Announced The Launch Of Her New Podcast

Last week, Meghan announced the launch of her new podcast titled "Confessions of a Female Founder."
Describing the series as "candid conversations" with "amazing women," Meghan aims to explore the successes and challenges of running a business.
A trailer is set to drop on March 25, with the first of eight weekly episodes launching on April 8 on Lemonada.
The Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram to unveil the cover art for an upcoming podcast, describing the experience as "absolutely eye-opening, inspiring… and fun!"
