Sarah Palin's Estranged Husband Todd Pulled Over By Alaska State Troopers Amid Divorce Battle

Sarah Palin’s estranged husband Todd Palin was pulled over and cited by Alaska State Troopers, weeks after he filed for divorce.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Todd was driving around Alaska when he caught the attention of a trooper for speeding. The records show he was driving 10-19 MPH over the limit.

Todd was also cited for failing to show his proof of insurance.

The records state the citation was issued on October 13, 2019. He will have to pay a fine of $520 and show his insurance documents.

The issue comes amid his divorce battle with Sarah. Back in September, Todd Palin filed for divorce from his wife following 30 years of marriage.

Todd filed the divorce using only their initials. The day the petition was filed was also his 55th birthday. He is seeking joint custody of the couple’s 11-year-old son Trig. Their other kids; including Bristol, Willow, Piper and Track, are all adults.

Sarah hired herself a high-powered Alaska attorney to represent her. She filed a counterclaim against Todd, meaning they don’t agree on all issues in the split.

The judge has scheduled their divorce trial to begin on April 6, 2020. The case is expected to last a total of four days.

Both parties agreed to seal the entire court record from the public.

Todd hired an interesting attorney to represent him in court. His lawyer is Kimberlee Colbo, who also worked for Dakota Meyer in his divorce from Bristol Palin.

Bristol and Dakota, who have two children together, wed in 2016 and divorced two years later, and their split was showcased on MTV's "Teen Mom OG."
