DeGeneres and her wife, de Rossi, have placed one of their last properties in the US for sale after relocating to the UK late last year.

Realtor.com revealed that the couple wants to sell the property for $5 million, four years after they bought it for $2.9 million.

The California abode boasts 1,691 square feet of space, and according to the listing, the home's private primary suite boasts its "own patio, spa-like bath, and generous closet space."

The home also features a simple but spacious kitchen with wooden cupboards and solid grey worktops with fitted appliances.

Meanwhile, DeGeneres and de Rossi's stay in the UK hasn't been a smooth ride as their property was affected by flood waters in the early part of this year.

The couple bought their $15 million Cotswolds home hoping the TV host would retire peacefully after coming under fire for alleged abuse and fostering a toxic workplace culture.

However, the property was surrounded by floodwaters after prolonged rainfall that hit the area for weeks made a nearby river burst its banks.

According to the Daily Mail, they also had troubles with their neighbors as they sought to build an extension over their property.

The former "Ellen DeGeneres Show" host and her wife were seemingly involved in a "technical breach" after not seeking planning permission to build a single-story extension at their UK property.

Their British neighbors didn't take it lightly as they charged that the development could increase potential flooding in the area as well as disturb Roman remains around them.

"The onus is on the owner to report any historic remains uncovered," a note from the parish council office stated.

It continued, "Concern was expressed by residents that the hedge and wire fence could increase flood risk in the village' if rubbish was swept down and 'caught on the fence,' thereby 'limiting flow across the field.'"

All these troubles have reportedly caused DeGeneres and de Rossi to find a new UK home. According to the Daily Mail, residents say the couple have seemingly started eyeing up a new rural retreat and are looking to abandon their Cotswolds estate, at least temporarily.

"Ellen and Portia have had several issues with the place they initially moved into," a local told the news outlet. "First there was the flooding, of course, then there was an issue with some locals complaining about some building work carried out at the property."

"So the upshot seems to have been that they started to have a look around, and then this property came up," the source continued. "They looked at it several times. And they liked it more each time they looked."

"So it does look like it's happening. They've been seen around there several times in recent weeks and have even had interactions with neighbors," they added.

Meanwhile, the couple has reportedly turned to fellow talk show host James Corden for "support" as they continue to navigate their new UK life.

A source told The Sun that DeGeneres and De Rossi have been leaning on Corden for "support" following their relocation to England. The trio were seen enjoying a night out at the Chiltern Firehouse in London to celebrate de Rossi's 52nd birthday back in January.

"James has been explaining all the quirks of UK life. It can be quite a minefield. The other week they enjoyed dinner out in London," a source told the news outlet.

DeGeneres received backlash in the years building up to her relocation from the country as she was accused of fostering a "toxic" workplace environment on her hit talk show.
