On Wednesday, The Blast reported that the pro golfer announced on his X page that he has suffered another leg injury, which could extend his time away from the game.

While preparing for the upcoming season, he experienced a sharp pain in his left Achilles, which was diagnosed as a rupture.

Tiger shared that Dr. Charlton Stucken at the Hospital for Special Surgery in West Palm Beach, Florida, performed a successful, minimally invasive repair procedure on the tendon. 

Furthermore, the golf legend expressed optimism about his recovery, stating that he now focuses on rehabilitation and appreciates the support from his fans.

The sports star had previously taken seven months off to recover after suffering an ankle injury in April 2023, ahead of his first competition at the Hero World Challenge.
