There is a new wave of streaming services headed our way, and Disney+ is leading the charge. Between the backlog of pretty much every Disney film, Star Wars, National Geographic, and the MCU, Disney+ is coming for our throats with a truckload of beloved content for the reasonable price tag of $6.99 a month.

Not only are the classics hitting the service, but tons of new original content is coming to Disney+ as well. The latest announcement is for LeBron James' new show Becoming.
Becoming is a docuseries made in collaboration with ESPN that will visit the hometowns of athletes and other celebrities to see their upbringings and how their environments shaped who they become. A few of the announced subjects are Anthony Davis, Caleb McLaughlin, Candace Parker, and Nick Cannon.

James, who will be producing the series alongside Maverick Carter, Jamal Henderson, and Philip Byron, explained in a statement why this project was a priority for him.
"I'm really excited about helping develop Becoming and bringing this kind of program to kids. Sports and athletes were my inspiration growing up. It was the stories about Michael Jordan, Deion Sanders, and Allen Iverson that kept me dreaming. When I learned that they had some of the same struggles and challenges I did, it made everything seem possible. That's what Becoming is all about."
James and Carter previously worked together on HBO's The Shop, which has a similar focus on exposing the emotions and beliefs of public figures.
