The celebrity insisted he never ordered anyone in his entourage to launch a physical attack on a man who filmed him on a morning run with a female companion.

He requested that the Las Vegas judge throw out all the claims and argued that "any damages William suffered "resulted solely from the negligence, assumption of risk, or other culpable conduct of [William] or others without" his involvement.

According to In Touch, Mayweather also asked that his accusers get nothing in settlement and be made to offset his legal expenses in the case.

The promoter is also currently facing a lawsuit from a man named Eduardo Andres Torres Martinez, which stems from an alleged incident that occurred at Yard House in L.A. Live on February 10, 2022.

In his filing, Mercado claimed he saw Mayweather jogging with a female companion very early in the morning. A sight that captured his attention as he stood by to film the boxer.

As they drew closer, the boxer reportedly noticed his accuser recording him and reportedly directed the men in the accompanying SUVs to intervene and seize the phone. This incident formed the foundation of Mercado's legal claims against Mayweather.

Upon realizing he was being filmed, the former boxer became furious and confronted the plaintiff, yelling to the occupants of the SUVs, "HE'S FILMING. TAKE HIS F–KING PHONE. GET HIM."

William recounted that several adult men quickly approached him, with one of them stating, "Nobody ever rushes the champ like that."

Mercado continued in his suit that the former boxer's team seized his phone and continued driving with him lying helplessly on the floor.

After regaining consciousness, he became aware that he was bleeding. Shortly thereafter, a car arrived, and he was ordered to get in, under the threat of being killed.

The accuser reported that he ran to a nearby 7-11 to contact the police, but they never arrived. Throughout this ordeal, a car repeatedly drove by, searching for him, before ultimately leaving the area.

As a result of this incident, Mercado reportedly sustained injuries affecting his limbs, organs, systems, head, and face, which he fears may lead to permanent disability.

He stated in the suit that the injuries have resulted in significant medical expenses and have severely limited his ability to engage in both work and recreational activities.

Consequently, he claimed to have now experienced a loss of earning capacity, lost wages, physical impairment, mental anguish, and diminished enjoyment of life, the full extent of which remains uncertain.

As for Martinez, he claimed the former boxer physically attacked him outside a club in L.A. alongside his bodyguards.

As noted by The Blast, Martinez claimed to have suffered severe injuries, such as a broken nose, jaw fractures, and multiple lacerations that required medical attention.

In light of these injuries, Martinez seeks over $3 million in damages from Mayweather. His demands include $1.5 million for general damages, $40,000 to cover medical expenses, $500,000 for anticipated future medical costs, $300,000 for potential loss of earnings, and $1 million in punitive damages.

Mayweather has walked down this path before, only that he served a severe punishment when he was found guilty of the accusations.

In 2012, the boxer was jailed after pleading guilty to a domestic violence charge involving his ex-girlfriend, which significantly damaged his reputation and resulted in the loss of endorsement. Despite this setback, he successfully made a comeback in boxing and continued to accumulate wealth.

Meanwhile, Mayweather's attorney has denied any involvement in Martinez's incident, asserting that there is insufficient evidence to support the victim's claims and suggesting that the former boxer was just a bystander.

The attorney also implied that the victim might be exaggerating his injuries to obtain a larger settlement. In a statement, the lawyer declared:
