"People told me my whole life, 'wow Justin [you] deserve that' and I personally have always felt unworthy, like I was a fraud, like when people told me I deserve something," he confessed. "It made me feel sneaky like, damn if they only knew my thoughts. How judgmental I am, how selfish I really am... They wouldn't be saying this."
The singer concluded his post, writing, "I say all this to say, if you feel sneaky, welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days."
Bieber's rise to fame began at just 15 when he was discovered on YouTube, leading to a record deal with Usher's label.

The rep added that Bieber has endured a "very transformative" past year, in which "he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him."

In an earlier post, Bieber took to his Instagram Stories to share an image with a message seemingly expressing his feelings regarding the latest flood of criticisms he has been facing due to photos and videos of him smoking and looking gaunt.
The message read, "WE HAVE NOTHING TO PROVE TODAY JUST THE GIFT OF LIFE TODAY TO ACCEPT AND RECEIVE."
It continued, "NOTHING IS OWED TO US AND WE DONT OWE ANYONE ANYTHING," ending with a red heart emoji.
