T.I. took the time to carefully explain why he said that Iggy Azalea was a huge "blunder."
The rapper appeared on "The Breakfast Club" to promote his podcast called "ExpediTIously" and addressed his controversial comments about his former protege.
"I feel like when she found out white people liked her and she didn't really need black people to like her anymore, she switched up," T.I. said.
"started acting different, made moves that I wasn't proud of," He continued, "that kind of put my reputation in the line of fire."

T.I. said that Iggy was arrogant about going against his grain and said it was her "energy" that caused people to turn their backs on the Australian Rapper.
His "blunder" comment came earlier this month when he told The Root, “I’m still actively looking for another female rapper who can undo the blunder of Iggy Azalea.”

Iggy and T.I. parted ways professionally back in 2015 but after his comments, Azalea slammed and claimed he was a misogynist.
In a deleted tweet, Iggy detailed her complaints about T.I. and his label, Grand Hustle.
"Imagine thinking I was his biggest blunder lmaoooooooooooooo. Tip. Sweetie. We have a whole list for you," She exclaimed.
"He’s a huge misogynist and has never been able to have a conversation with any woman in which he doesn’t speak like a fortune cookie," Iggy wrote.

T.I. stated that he is not talking about her to put her down and that this is his "truth."
"I don't wish no ill will on her," he said.
After Iggy learned about T.I.'s newest comments, she responded with a long rant on Twitter.
Her tweets have since been deleted.
"When will this guy shut up," Iggy wrote. "The only song you ever were a part of making was '100' Thankyou for that, but you were NOT a part of the creative OR executive process on that album. Which is why I’ve always taken issue with you trying to approximate yourself with it’s success."
Iggy continued, "seeing a man speaking out of his a**hole and blurting our one thing in public and another in private for years is really infuriating. Keep it pushing sweetie & worry about what your next storyline is for family hustle."
Anyway, sorry for ranting but it makes me SO mad; you have no idea. Let’s talk about Lola.
That’s what I care about & where my focus needs to remain.

Azalea detailed an incident where she claims T.I. tried to get her back on his Grand Hustle label.
She said that she had to block his number and change recording studios to keep her distance.
Iggy also addressed T.I.'s claim that she does not write her own verses.
"do I write with multiple people on songs especially big pop-leaning ones? Yes. I’ve never claimed otherwise. Look at the pub credits. It’s public information.”
